| Tour Guide Legal Requirements |
Each Spanish region (comunidad) has its Associations and laws regarding who can and cannot be a tour guide. All regions, except the Basque region, requires a license to guide. Guides must pass an exam to get this license.
No license required is the person is not 'interpreting the cultural and natural heritage of an area'. So if the tour was for shopping or nightlife a guide license would not be required. report error
