Pepe provided us with an amazing overview of the history of Madrid. What a fascinating city to learn about from an excellent guide. We saw several different historical sites and then enjoyed going to a small neighborhood taverna to sample some tapas and drinks. We would gladly book another tour with Pepe when we come back to Madrid.
Pepe made our tour of four tapas and wine establishments so fun. We saw some of the most unusual and interesting places we would never have found on our own. This is a great introduction tour for anyone who wants to see and experience Spanish food and wine. I’d definitely do this tour again!

Pepe was a good and knowledgeable guide who shared interesting insights about Madrid’s history, culture, and literary heritage. His explanations were clear and engaging, and we appreciated the depth of information he provided throughout the tour. That said, the walking pace was faster than what we had experienced on other tours, which made it a bit challenging at times. Additionally, while the tour description suggested a tapas crawl, we only visited one tapas bar. It was enjoyable, but it didn’t feel like a full tapas experience. Overall, Pepe’s knowledge and enthusiasm made this a worthwhile tour, though a slightly slower pace and more tapas stops would have made it even better.
