I was born in Bilbao (Basque Country) and was adopted by the city of Madrid 24 years ago. We thoroughly enjoyed our customized tour of Madrid with Amalia. There is so much to see and do and in one day we got an excellent overview of this historic city. She is an excellent guide who is knowledgeable and passionate about Madrid's history, culture, arts and food.
Amelia was a delightful tour guide. We toured the Royal Palace, the Prada and the area of the city in between. Her recommendation for lunch was great. Amelia was very knowledgeable about all of the sites as well as the artwork. The tour was fascinating Amelia was prompt, professional and friendly. We would highly recommend touring with her.
Amalia is an excellent guide. Her knowledge of Madrid's history is very deep and full of powerful stories. She is extremely smart when it comes to art. Do not go to the Prado without her! Her english is superb and she has a warm and easy going style. She is a 10 out of 10!

Amalia's tour gave us a great introduction to Madrid focusing on the old city - it's history, architecture and unique stores/restaurants . We walked all over the various neighborhoods and central plazas. She was extremely knowledgeable and shared facts, including visual images that complemented the information she presented. Of especial interest were all the details we learned about the royal palace, past and present monarchies, which made our visit at the Royal palace the highlight of the day.
