Prado Museum with an Art Expert

Jaime was an excellent guide to the materpieces of the Prado. His knowledge of the works, both their meanings and histories, was outstanding: we learned much more than we expected. And seeing these master works through his eyes made us appreciate them much more deeply. Additionally, Jaime went out of his way several times to ensure we had the best experience: at one point I just mentioned that Rembrandt was my favorite painter. This is not a painter the Prado is known for. In fact, there is only one Rembrandt painting at the Prado, and it's not even conveniently located. But before we knew it, Jaime surprised us with a special visit to the Rembrandt painting (Judith at the Banquet of Holofernes). This was typical of Jaime: constantly making sure we got the most out of our visit to the Prado. His English was very good, and his enthusiasm for the works of the Prado was palpable. We would recommend him without hesitation.

Jamie was an outstanding guide at the Prado Museum. His breadth of knowledge was truly impressive, and his passion for the art, history, and stories behind the masterpieces was evident throughout the entire tour. What could have been an overwhelming experience became engaging, fascinating, and genuinely fun thanks to his enthusiasm and storytelling ability. In a remarkably short amount of time, we learned so much and gained a much deeper appreciation for the museum’s incredible collection. Beyond his expertise, Jamie was sweet, friendly, and incredibly welcoming, making the experience enjoyable from start to finish. My wife and I highly recommend Jamie to anyone visiting the Prado Museum. This is an absolute must-do experience and one of the highlights of our time in Madrid.

Fantastic tour . Jaime was a fascinating guide whose knowledge was incredible and whose enthusiasm for his subject definitely catching. Always considerate of whether we needed a break etc. Could not recommend highly enough . He gave us the perfect visit to the astonishing Prado.
