Hi Everyone! My name is Adam, I'm originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina but now I can identify as a citizen of the world. At age 22, I decided to move to Ireland for an experience abroad and ended up staying for two years. This is where I met my wife, Luciana, with whom I moved back to Argentina first, then a year to Australia, and then back to Ireland for 3 more years. Now we have been in Madrid since January 2020 with no further plans to relocate! Our family grew with the arrival of our Madrileño son, and we are delighted with the city. Thanks to this small 'nomad' life in the last 10 years I've got the chance to do tours in different places around the world. I have a tourism degree and my first job was as a travel agent in Buenos Aires. In my first year in Dublin (2011) I started as a Tour Guide and I fell in love with the profession. I continued guiding in Buenos Aires, then I worked in the tourist information office in Sydney, Australia, and back guiding in Ireland. Since I came to Madrid I have worked as an information officer and a tour guide as well. My favorite tour is the Historic Madrid Tour where we will see the biggest Royal Palace in Western Europe, an Arabic wall of more than 1000 years, medieval alleys, and the great Plaza Mayor among other great sights of the city. I have different pre-set tours but I'm always keen to be open to suggestions or changes depending on your desire. If you are interested in a particular theme or period I can focus the tours on whatever you are looking for in Madrid. My set tours are on a walking basis but if you need private transportation we can arrange that as well. Tourism Degree from La Suisse CEPEC School (Argentina). Worked as a Travel Agent and tour Guide in Buenos Aires. Worked as a Tour Guide in Dublin. Worked as a Tourist Information Officer in Sydney, Australia & Madrid, Spain. Official Tour Guide License by the Government Aragon, Spain. This grants me access and the availability to guide inside the Royal Palace, Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum, and other museums and tourist attractions in the city of Madrid. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

From the very first moment of the tour, I'll be providing you with a historical introduction to both Spain's and Madrid's history, focusing on the Royal Family and the Royal Palace, which will be one of our first stops. I'll also be sharing the history of the Plaza de Oriente and the statue of Philip IV. Also, you'll learn about how the Palace was used during the Republican time and during the Dictatorship of Francisco Franco and how the Royals came back to Madrid after his death. In addition to that, we'll enjoy one of the greatest sights of Madrid and its surroundings, from the lookout inside the palace patio. And of course I'll discuss the details of the Great halls, salons, and rooms of the Palace with you. In the last part of the tour we'll see the Cathedral of Madrid, which looks like an old building although it opened just 30 years ago. Here I'll share the history of the Virgin of Almudena, the patron saint of Madrid.
-We'll start at Plaza de Oriente, where you will learn about the strange story behind the first statue of a horse with 2 legs standing in the air. -Adjacent to the Plaza, we'll also see the Opera House. -Then we'll get to the Royal Palace of Madrid, the biggest royal palace in Europe. We will discover the place's history and talk about the Royals' dirty laundry in Spain. -Reaching the Palace's patio, we'll take in a stunning panoramic view of Madrid. -Next, we'll see the most modern Cathedral in Europe, the Santa Maria de la Almudena Cathedral in Madrid. You will learn about why it is so contemporary, why it took so long to build it, and about the miracles of the Patron Saints of Madrid. This itinerary could be customized upon request.
