The place where the story takes place in the book, is just what this tour offers: first Consuegra, with its landscape, its windmills, its panoramic view, its castle and its history. And, indisputably, then Toledo - the first capital of Castile, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 for its extensive monumental and cultural heritage. Its labyrinthine streets take you back to the time of the Knights Templar; its shop windows with their sabers, swords and knives make you live these feats; not to mention the local sweets, cheeses or hams. These two places will make you discover the hidden jewels of the most ancient Spain!

This was an amazing tour. The drive to Consuegra was very scenic. The view from the windmills and castle was beautiful. Toledo was an incredible city to visit. Giorgi took us to a hotel/restaurant , we had a delicious lunch with an amazing view of the city. Toledo has wonderful architecture and history. Giorgi has a very nice car and is an amazing guide. He is very informative and entertaining. We very much enjoyed spending the day with him.

- Pickup of passengers from their lodging or meeting point as priorly established. - Journey to Consuegra (aprox 1 hour by car). - Visit of Consuegra (emphasis on windmills and castle). - Return to the car. - Driving to Toledo (45 minutes). - Visit of Toledo (Cathedral, Jewish quarter, Christian quarter, Arab quarter). - Optional as a visit - shops selling swords, knives, cheeses, hams, sweets. - Return to the car. - We will go up with the car on top of a hill to be able to take the panoramic photo of Toledo. - Return to the meeting point or to the clients' accomodation. - End of the tour. Remember this itinerary is customizable to best fit the travellers' needs and preferences.
