The quality and variety of its collection makes the Prado one of the world's best-endowed museums. It combines a first-class collection of Spanish paintings, the most important works of the Flemish and Italian schools, and various fine examples of the German, French and English schools. It is home to numerous masterpieces of universal art such as Las Meninas by Velázquez, the two Majas by Goya, Nobleman with his hand on his chest by El Greco, the Garden of Delights by Bosch, and The Three Graces by Rubens, among other priceless pieces of art collection. And so to pick which works to see or which galleries to visit inside the Prado Museum can be a mind-boggling experience. I will show and explain you the masterpieces of the Prado Museum and together we will explore art's progression through Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Roccoco, Neo-Classicism and Romanticism. Vanessa was great. We had been to the Prado before , so, she provided a “ new tour” like how the Prado( meadow) came about. Different paintings and background of painters. No one tour of the Prado is sufficient. Vanessa is very engaging . She knows the Prado like the back of her hand!

Extremely knowledgable tour guide with an obvious love of the museum. Two and half hours is plenty of time. While you won't see the entire museum anything longer would be too much for your brain!
We loved our tour with Vanessa and recommend her highly! She was extremely knowledgeable of the artwork and history behind the artists and their paintings. Vanessa also was very good at engaging our 8 and 7 year old grandchildren and keeping them interested as we moved through the museum.
