Hello from Madrid!I am a true "madrileña", born and raised in the city, I have always moved around. Since I was a child I felt a great interest in art and history and it never left me, that's why I decided to get my degree in Art History. I have been a guide for more than 15 years and today, I like my work more than ever. I feel lucky of having the opportunity of meeting people from all over the world. I always felt impressed by the great museums of Madrid, I'm currently engaged in a PhD in contemporary art, and every time I go to the Reina Sofia Museum I felt overwhelmed by the "Guernika" painting. I also love to discover special places in my city. I can tell you anecdotes, legends and interesting details about every corner in Madrid. An do not forget ot ask me about gastronomy - it is also one of my main interests, so the Tapas Tour is one of my favourites! I must tell you that I am not a fan of very touristy places, I want to offer you a more authentic vision of the city. And, if you are interested in visiting Toledo, I can show you the Imperial city at sunset, when all the tourists have gone and it recovers its magical atmosphere. If you've questions or suggestions, please do be in touch. I look forward to hearing from you! Licensed guide. Degree in Art History.

There are so many different interesting neighborhoods in Madrid that are really worthwhile a visit, and each has a personality of its own. A visit isn't complete without exploring these culturally-diverse areas. I know sometimes it is difficult to move around in public transport, but I can accompany you through the city to discover some of these exciting quarters: Gran Via, the most vibrant street in town, Chueca, the modern Gay district; Salamanca, the most elegant quarter in the city, where we can walk through the Golden Mile, and the beautiful literary quarter, where locals use to go for "Tapas", and, of course, we will taste one! We'll need transportation, we can go by taxi or we can use the public transport if you think it will be useful for you to learn a bit about how it works. During the tour we'll have enough time to have a drink in a very special place in Chueca, to have a typical "Tapa" in the Literary Quarter and to enjoy a beautiful view of the city from a rooftop terrace.

Natalia was a wonderful and informative guide. I would recommend her highly. She had insightful recommendations. We learned and experienced more than we ever could have on our own.
Natalia was a complete pleasure to for us. She knows Madrid as a native daughter and customized our tour for our likes and dislikes. We walked through Madrid, hitting on all the highlights our time would allow and Natalia had the background stories to explain what we were seeing and help us feel the true Madrid. She also showed us local restaurants and shopping as well as the beauty, history and charm of her city and areas of interest including all the main squares and their surrounding area. Great tour!!
This was an excellent tour of Madrid and Natalia was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. What a great way to get to know the city, its history, neighborhoods, secrets, etc. This was really a highlight of our four day visit and we can't thank Natalia enough for such a warm and pleasant experience.
We are experienced international travelers and have visited many major capitals worldwide. This was our first (but not last) visit to Madrid. Natalia's walking tour was spectacular! We saw and learned so much, and exactly what we asked her to show us -- history, culture, food, arts, the real Madrid today. We can't thank her enough. Best wishes and warm regards Natalia!
We were challenging clients for Natalia, as we had visited many of the sites she normally shows off on our prior visits to Madrid. She did a nice job discovering what we had not seen in the neighborhoods and providing the background to each area of the city we visited. She did a great job explaining public issues surrounding the reuse of old buildings. We enjoyed out three house of wandering with her. It was a great way to better understand the differences in the areas we visited. Excellent tour.
