My family recently traveled to Rio with kids aged 9 and 11. We spent a day and a half with Lais and it was great. As a local, she is very familiar with Rio, taking us to places we otherwise never would have seen. As a biologist, she new everything about local plant and animal life. As a former teacher and mom, she was great with the kids. They loved her and she immediately felt like part of the family. She exceeded expectations and truly could not have been better.

If you only have a day to spend in Rio, Ana Maria is the guide you want showing you the city. She is smart, personable, and has an incredible charm that makes her a pleasure to be with...and also gets you into places others can't go. Be patient touring through Rio. It's a lovely city, but hectic, and there are often things out of one's control (e.g. traffic, cloud coverage, etc.). But Ana Maria is quick to adjust and make sure you have a wonderful excursion. I loved having her as my guide!
