Our tour in Rio with Simone was truly outstanding. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly flexible — which made all the difference for us. Because bad weather forced us to postpone our helicopter flight to the same day as our tour, our schedule became very tight. Simone handled everything with calm professionalism and adjusted the itinerary seamlessly so we could still enjoy all the experiences we were hoping for. She even made sure we had time for a meaningful visit to Rocinha, where an additional local guide joined us due to the unique nature of the favela. Together, they provided thoughtful insights, made us feel safe and welcome, and helped us understand the community with respect and authenticity. Simone is outstanding! She had lots of historical information about Rio, and took us to some of the major sites. We never felt hurried; she gave us choices on how long we wanted to spend in certain areas. She also took us to a fantastic place for lunch in Santa Teresa. Thank you so much, Simone!

Simone was a wonderful guide. Her English was flawless. She designed our tour to perfectly fit our requests and we managed to see a number of sites. She was informative without talking too much. She never hurried us along but at the same time kept us moving. The best part was that she managed to bypass long lines and get us “priority” access to busy sites.
