Edson did an excellent job guiding us around both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides of the falls. We enjoyed our conversations with him about the general state of Brazil. Thanks Edson.

Greetings from Iguassu Falls! It is about 20 years that I'm working as a tour guide taking people to visit the Iguazu Falls. I got graduation on tourism. I was born and raised in Iguassu and it is my home town, means I have some local knowledge. I like to meet people of different nationalities. My work is given quality local and regional information according to the people request. I love this place and would be happy to show and explain it to anyone interested in visiting it. If anyone is in doubt about tours feel free to contact me. I will be happy to send information about it. By the way, this is one of the best ecological destinations in South America and it is one of the seven wonders of nature. I hope that you enjoy Iguassu Falls! I got an official tour guide badge from the Brazilian Tourism Bureau in 2000. I was also graduated in tourism at the University of Unioeste, the campus of Foz do Iguacu in 2005. No restrictions. As a tour guide I have free access to all the attractions in Iguazu area.

This tour is for people that have two days available. It is the best option to have time for everything without rushing. If people arrive at the airport at midday, there is time to visit the Brazilian side of the falls on the arrival day. One can go visiting the Argentinean side on the second day, it is longer, and one needs more time for it. Feel free also to shift the days of the tours according to the arrival and departing times. I don't mind to pick-up people at the airport like at 7:00 a. m.

Our 2 day tour of Iguassu Falls with Edson was outstanding! He provided us with very interesting historical, cultural and ecological information unique to each side of the falls (Brazil and Argentina). Edson was excellent with time management, making sure that we could fit everything into our two day tour (even managing to take the boat ride under the falls on the Argentina side). The real icing on the cake was being lucky enough to see a Jaguar cross the road right in front of Edson’s car as we exited the park - such an amazing experience! We can’t thank Edson enough for providing us such an excellent, educational and fun experience!!
We had a fabulous 2-day tour of both the Brazil and Argentina sides with Edson Damo. Two people in the group had to limit the amount of walking due to physical issues and Edson was very considerate of their limitations. I don’t think they could have made the trip without his help. The falls are beautiful and seeing them from both countries will provide significantly different perspectives. Having a knowledgeable guide enhanced a one-in-a lifetime experience.
Edson is a very accomplished guide. We spent 2 days with him touring the falls from both the Brazil and Argentina sides. He is very knowledgeable about the area. He planned our outings so that we could see the most sights with the least amount of traffic. He was quick to point out the best places for photos and also took numerous group photos of us. He took us to the store to pick up some essentials we needed and even brought his personal luggage carrier with him so he could accommodate all of our luggage on the last day (as he was dropping us off at the airport after our tour). If you are looking for a guide that will work his hardest to meet all of your expectations - you need to look no further. Plus the tour itself was absolutely amazing. A MUST if you are in the area.
Edson spoke excellent English, had a clean, spacious car and picked us up directly from the airport so we could hit the Brazilian side right away. It was a perfect day. We couldn’t have figured it out without him. The next day was on the Argentinian side and he picked us up from our Melia hotel right in the park. It was an excellent, knowledgable guide, and we couldn’t have done this two day trip without him.
Edson was great from initial contact to planning a final itinerary for our three day visit. He was very flexible and suggested changes according to the weather so we still managed to see/do everything and more in the time we had. He even picked up from the airport and dropped us off and all tours in between. Some fantastic lunch options also made it special as we got to taste local cuisine. Thank you Edson. For those looking for a guide and private tour, please discuss openly your ideas, including hotel options, the type of vehicle you'd like and your interests, and I am sure Edson will accommodate his best.
Pick up at the hotel, bus station, airport or another place given by the client. FIRST DAY Pick-up at the airport and visit the Iguassu Falls in Brazil (one needs like 4 hours for this tour). After picking up at the airport, if the hotel is on the way, one can drop off luggage at the hotel, then go to the falls in Brazil. At the end of the tour, drop off at the Hotel. SECOND DAY Tour of the Iguassu Falls in Argentina (one needs 7 to 8 hours), depending on the hotel location. At the end drop off at the airport or the hotel. Drop off at the hotel, bus station, airport or another place given by the client. It is mandatory to bring a valid passport, there are borders to cross. There is a chance to stop for optional tours on the way like: - boat trip and safari - white water rafting - bird park - helicopter ride - lunch No extra charge to stop for optional tours but people need to pay for the tickets on their own at the desk. The car has air-con and can accommodate 4 people and luggage, plus the tour guide is also the driver. If there will be more than 4 people or too many bags, for a little extra, I will arrange a larger vehicle.
