The Custom Tour

After a 7 hour private tour with Marcos we felt like we had actually seen Rio. He is a fabulous guide; friendly, courteous and fun. He got us to all the things we asked to see plus many things we didn’t think to ask for, like sugar cane juice! We had an incredible day with Marco, our private guide in Rio. He kicked things off by immersing us in the city’s traditional side—showing us hidden gems like historic neighborhoods, local markets, and authentic samba spots that felt worlds away from the tourist crowds. His knowledge of Rio’s culture and history was spot-on, and he shared fun stories that brought everything to life. Super organized, friendly, and passionate! 5/5 stars!

Marcos is a great tour guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. We took the 6 hour tour, and he navigated around the rain, clouds and drizzles to get a great view from the Sugarloaf mountain and a nice view of Christ the Redeemer. Also visited the Copacabana beach, Ipanema, Santa Teresa areas, and climbed down Seleron steps and the modern Pyramid Church. Hiring Marcos was the perfect decision for me and my wife!

Marcos is very knowledgeable and an awesome guide. He tailored the tour to meet our interests, and made sure to not miss the important sites.

We had an excellent 3 days in Rio w Marcos. Marcos was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. He kept us moving (it was a busy few days) but we never felt rushed and he made changes to adapt to uncertain weather as we went. I'd recommend him to others that want a tour with a relaxed vibe, more like you are hanging out with friend and exploring the city (and who also happens to know a lot about everything you see)!
