About me: I have graduated in Social Communication at Pontifícia Universidade Católica Rio de Janeiro and Theater by Casa de Artes de Laranjeiras. For ten years I have been working for several tourism companies in the cities of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, as a Private Guide. I have also acted as a private translator of English and Spanish in business meetings, fairs, and events. Previously I have also worked in the hospitality industry for eleven years as Operations Manager at Holiday Inn World Wide (now InterContinental Hotels Group) and Utell International, both in call centers. What travelers enjoy about the "five hours" tour is to have a more complete overview of Sao Paulo. Still is the quickest way of getting more information from places of one of the biggest cities in the world. Plenty opportunities to take pictures. You will have a true insight of the city and its most significant areas maximizing your time. The tour will cover the Historical City Center, Japan Town, Ibirapuera Park but it also includes the Muncipal Market and the art district of Vila Madalena. You may also suggest places within city perimeter. Places and monuments will be explained as you go along. You may walk and enter certain attractions. You decide!
This tour was a great way to spend our first day in São Paulo! Gilbran took us to virtually every ‘must see’ location in São Paulo, which is not an easy task! His knowledge goes deep- I didn’t realize how much I learned until the following days walking in Sao Paulo with other guides! Plus Gilbran is like a friend- easy to talk to, as if you’ve known him for ages rather than a stiff tour guide with only facts to share. And he has great restaurant recommendations!

Gil was a terrific guide -- very personable and informative. He took us around to all the different sections of Sao Paulo, explained the neighborhoods and areas, showed us the highlights of the city and gave us a chance to walk around in the most interesting places. We had a chance to stop for coffee and sightseeing and he is a great conversationalist. He was also very conscious of the needs of two members of my party to get back the the hotel in time to leave for the airport. I highly recommend him.

We did the 5 hours tour. Gilbran was an amazing tour guide, full of knowledge and polite, happy to reply to all our questions. He took us to all the interesting places of Sao Paulo. Gil is one of the best guides I have ever used in touring cities and I highly recommend him. He was punctual, flexible, funny, and very personable. Gil knows enough about the city to make the tour of this lovely city both educational and memorable. He was also quite skilled in taking our "tourist" pictures. -The tours are private, the clients have the chance to spend as much time as they want wherever they want. -In five hours, there will also the option to include the Art District of Vila Madalena. And also the Historical City Center, which includes the main cathedral, foundation place of Sao Paulo, Opera House, Municipal Market, City Hall and Japan Town; -Ibirapuera Park (you get to know the park plus, you will be able to go on top of the Contemporary Art Museum to see the best view of the city, except on Mondays when museums are closed); -Paulista Ave (financial district) and Oscar Freire the posh street. -You will be able to enter some of the attractions and walk through the city as you like.
