From the moment we were met by Daniel S at the port entrance, we were quickly in his car and were given the most remarkable tour of Rio de Janeiro you could wish for. His enthusiasm and knowledge were second to none and he managed to squeeze in all that we wanted to see of this fantastic city. For more than 7 hours Daniel stayed with us, not just taking us to the attractions, but also guiding us around those attractions and helping to manage some fantastic photo opportunities whilst describing where we were and the history of the locations. Rio isn't a easy city to get around. So while you could try to check the boxes of sights to see it wouldn't only be inefficient but you would miss the explanations that bring the sights to life. Dan was excellent using his know how to show us sights and tips and tricks to get the most out of our touring experience. In addition we got to learn about the society, daily lives of the people. He made himself available should we need additional help with our times and plans in Rio.
