Welcome to Rio de Janeiro, the city of wonders!!! My name is Bernard Moraes, I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. I have also lived in Montreal and Buzios, known as the St Tropez of Brazil. I majored in Business Administration and Psychology is on the final year of my academic pursuit. I have been working in tourism for more than 15 years. I love hosting people from all over the world and showing you my city. Tourism for me is having new life experiences. I offer private tours from 1-12 people max. Depending on your group size and preference, I can be your driver guide with my own Honda Fit 2014, or use a professional driver and van. This private and customized tour is perfect for those who don t want to spend longtime touring. Ih 5 hours we ll be able to visit 2 or 3 attractions and see some other things on the way. With 2 half days, it s possible to visit the main attractions of Rio. You ll optimize your time and enjoy the tour at your own pace. As a local, I know the good routes to avoid traffic and I will also create the best itinerary according to your interests. Bernard customized this tour to fit exactly what I wanted to do. He adapted quickly to the pace and tone I enjoy when meeting a new city. I like unhurried, with knowledgeable commentary without filling every second with minute, forgettable details. I know some people like that but I like having time to think and digest. Bernard knew the city intimately and provided transportation in his personal vehicle, which allowed us to be very flexible. He also had excellent English. I highly recommend his services.
Excellent tour. Bernard knew so much about Rio. He also knew what time to visit sites on our itinerary. Especially Christ the Redeemer, in order to avoid the crowds. I strongly recommend that you take his tour.

Bernard was a fantastic tour guide! We hooked him for two days. For the half day tour we went to Christ the Redeemer and the Botanical Gardens. Bernard was very prompt picking us up at the hotel and had every thing planned out perfectly. It was such a breeze because he knew right where to park and how to avoid the crowds. He’s a super nice guy and very knowledgeable about Rio!

Transportation Method: A confortable and air-conditioned car (Honda Fit 2014) will be used for your transportation. We ll also walk to visit the attractions and explore some areas. My car fits me + 3 more people comfortably or 4 people if you are small/medium size. For more than 4 people, please contact me. A van + driver can be rented
