We initially had a little difficulty meeting up with Aldinei since it was raining "cats and dogs" at our assignment meeting time but in a half hours time everything worked out. Even though the weather was less than desirable we did manage to see all the sites we were interested even leading us in a very steady rain to see the National Institute for Amazonia Research. He was a great guide and we all would highly recommend him of you want to get a "hands on" glimpse of Manaus and it people

Aldinei was a very good guide for our day in Manaus. He went out of his way to show us everything that we wanted to see plus other places of interest. His knowledge of the area, people, and customs was extensive. He made our day in Manaus memorable.
We had a great time in Manaus with Aldinei despite some unexpected challenges - our ship was delayed and some of the venues were unexpectedly closed. When we had wifi service, we were able to communicate directly which was very helpful. Aldinei was flexible and resourceful in adjusting to accommodate our interests and time. He is very knowledgeable and communicates easily. Remembering all the information he shared is our challenge but remembering our visit to Manaus and Brazil will be our pleasure.
