Hello my name is Denis and I was born in Sao Paulo. I am an official tour guide for Brazil (Ministerio do Turismo License), and I have a degree in International Relations, Organic Agriculture and I studied English in Australia. I am a very flexible person, and always do my best to help my guests in their expectations. I like Arts, Culture, Nature, and I am a musician in my free time. I have worked as a tour guide for the last 25 years in Sao Paulo and surroundings, and I love my job! Sao Paulo is the biggest city in the entire American continent and , to see it in a short time, you need someone that knows well the city, to select the interesting attractions and save time. There are many attractions in Sao Paulo, like museums, historical buildings, nice archtecture, beautiful neighborhoods, Market, street art, central park, churchs, shopping streets, wonderful restaurants, and a great cultural diversity. Every tour I make is a different new experience, because the city is different day by day, and the group is a new one every time. My favorite tours are "Ilhabela" , one of the most beautiful islands in Brazil, with beautiful beaches and waterfalls surrounded by the rainforest, and the hiking tours, where I can show the visitor everything about the rainforest. I was a boy scout as a kid, so I love Nature. Sao Paulo is surrounded by that Rainforest, and the beaches on Sao Paulo's coast are about 70 Kilometers away from the city. We also have beautiful mountain places to visit nearby, like the town of Campos do Jordao, that has a quite european style and feelling of the brazilian mountains. My availability changes very quickly normally, so please don't take too long to decide making a booking with me, for not loosing the date. Denis gave us an outstanding day tour of Sao Paolo. He has a comfortable SUV and managed to find parking at all the main sites. He is full of local and historical knowledge and was very gracious in answering our many general questions about life in this interesting city. Seeing the main sites requires a car, but then the ability to stop and explore certain areas by foot. We needed the 6 hours and we highly recommend Denis.

We only had one day in Sau Paulo, so having a knowledgeable local to show us some of the highlights was great. Denis speaks good English and knows lots about Sao Paulo. We did the tour in his car with some walking. He is adept at finding parking spaces in a busy city! We certainly got a good taste of the city and came away with some good memories and photographs.
Your Sao Paulo tour itinerary
This is my suggestion of itinerary, but I am very flexible and glad to customize it for you. After the hotel pick up, we can see the beautiful food Municipal Market, Cathedral, Japanese Area, First building, Foundation Square, Municipal Theater, Benedict Monastery, Train Stations, Soccer Stadium and Museum, Art Museums, Avenida Paulista (main street), Jardins District, Ibirapuera Park, Our Lady of Brazil church, Vila Madalena, Batman Alley, and Itaim district (Faria Lima avenue). Then, drive back to hotel in Sao Paulo. Note: Keep in mind that this is a flexible tour and this is just a suggested itinerary, but we can adjust the whole tour according to your interests. Also consider that museums and some other attractions are closed on Mondays or Tuesdays for maintenance.
