PRIVATE TOUR GUIDE SERVICE - I have become a tour guide after a personal experience living abroad. I lived in North America for over a year and that gave me a clear understanding of other culture. Adding this experience to some time in Europe has made me understand what are some of the expectations people have when visiting Brazil. It was with this in mind that I started giving personal tours 20 years ago. My service is designed to meet each customer's interest whether it is a student group, executive group, corporate trips, families or individual travelers. Private transportation is provided from 1 (smaller cars) to 8 people when we have larger vehicles with a driver. Mini buses for 16/20 people are also one option offered for larger groups. Coming to South America represents a great challenge for many people, and I've taken as my mission to demystify these fears by building a safe and most importantly a joyful trip for you! ** Rio de Janeiro is the Brazilian city that promotes the world's largest outdoor festival - Carnival There are many ways to take part of this delightful festival. A visit to the Brazilian Imperial City
Overview of your Rio De Janeiro tour
The day begins with a beautiful ride to the mountains of Rio and just about one hour later we arrive at the top to enjoy a great view of the region; Not too much further we can again stop to have a coffee, use the restrooms before we finally cross the city's portal. A visit to the Imperial museum, a summer residence of Brazilian's favorite Emperor, is a must to check its gardens, a collection of carriages including the recently restored one used by Peter and personal belongings of the family during monarchy !! The tour is followed by a visit to Saint Peter cathedral, a Gothic church and Chrystal palace used nowadays by Petropolis citizens as a park. Other places to see like an old Casino/hotel - Quitandinha - are additional suggestions of visit that can be decided during the tour. We also offer the opportunity of having lunch at a family restaurant of the city but starting the day early, we can also just stop for a coffee and return to Rio for a meal at one of the famous and nice restaurants of the city!

We highly recommend a day trip to Petropolis. Driving through the forested hills and mountain was easy. Once you get to this tranquil place with great weather, you can understand why people choose to holiday there. We enjoyed visiting the Summer Palace of the last Brazilian Emperor and learning about Imperial history. We'd like to go back to tour the Bohemia brewery and sit in the garden sampling beers. We were able to adjust the tour to get back in time to visit an art market before closing time.

Your Rio De Janeiro tour itinerary
Tour itinerary will be the following: - This visit starts with a beautiful ride on Rio's mountains. - Along the way, locals can be seen on the road selling the "little bananas", jaca fruit, house historical pieces (doors and windows) and general art. - As we get to the city, we visit the Imperial palace (former summer palace used by Brazilian monarchy ), Chrystal palace, Saint Peter cathedral (gothic style).
