Brasília City Highlights Tour

As people who enjoy design, architecture, and urban planning, Alberto gave us a great tour of Brasilia. Alberto is a Brasilia native, born and raised, and he gave us such good insight into the city. Coming from Los Angeles, Brasilia is also a car-centric city so the fact that this was a private tour where Alberto drove us from site to site was very convenient. Most of the sites are pretty close to each other, so we got to see basically everything in one day. We even saw things that I thought we wouldn't get to see. Some of these places were unexpected surprises. Keep in mind that if you would like to see Itamaraty Palace (which I 100% recommend), you need to book a tour in advance. Itamaraty was one of our favorite buildings we got to see in Brasilia! Alberto has such a wealth of knowledge, a friendly personality, and flexible demeanor. We truly learned so much from him and the tour went above and beyond what we expected. Lunch was delicious and unexpected--he took us to get Feijoada and we liked it better than the one we had in Rio. Muito obrigado, Alberto! You helped us fall in love with such a beautiful and unique place. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Alberto has energy! He picked us up at our hotel in his comfortable car and the first stop was a magnificent modern cathedral of concrete and blue stained glass windows running from floor to ceiling. It was an epic start to our day. Alberto's English is fluent and his knowledge of his city is at a very high level. We enjoyed our day of learning with him. I highly recommend using him as a tour guide for Brasilia.

Alberto is a highly knowledgeable guide that facilitated exactly what I wanted: Seeing as much of Brasilia's stunning architecture as possible in a single day! Note that visiting Itamaraty palace requires booking several weeks in advance, which I found out far too late.

This was an outstanding tour. Alberto was very knowledgeable on local history, both past and present and we learned a lot. We visited all of the main sites in Brasilia and Alberto’s local knowledge was invaluable in accessing the best places to observe some of the key features such as the JK bridge. The restaurant chosen for lunch was excellent both for the food and location. Alberto was friendly and had a dry sense of humour. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.
