Hello my name is Denis and I was born in Sao Paulo. I am an official tour guide for Brazil (Ministerio do Turismo License), and I have a degree in International Relations, Organic Agriculture and I studied English in Australia. I am a very flexible person, and always do my best to help my guests in their expectations. I like Arts, Culture, Nature, and I am a musician in my free time. I have worked as a tour guide for the last 25 years in Sao Paulo and surroundings, and I love my job! Sao Paulo is the biggest city in the entire American continent and , to see it in a short time, you need someone that knows well the city, to select the interesting attractions and save time. There are many attractions in Sao Paulo, like museums, historical buildings, nice archtecture, beautiful neighborhoods, Market, street art, central park, churchs, shopping streets, wonderful restaurants, and a great cultural diversity. Every tour I make is a different new experience, because the city is different day by day, and the group is a new one every time. My favorite tours are "Ilhabela" , one of the most beautiful islands in Brazil, with beautiful beaches and waterfalls surrounded by the rainforest, and the hiking tours, where I can show the visitor everything about the rainforest. I was a boy scout as a kid, so I love Nature. Sao Paulo is surrounded by that Rainforest, and the beaches on Sao Paulo's coast are about 70 Kilometers away from the city. We also have beautiful mountain places to visit nearby, like the town of Campos do Jordao, that has a quite european style and feelling of the brazilian mountains. My availability changes very quickly normally, so please don't take too long to decide making a booking with me, for not loosing the date. To see one of the biggest cities in the world requires time or someone that really knows the place very well. I can help you to do that in a quite short time. In 6 hours it's possible to do a general tour in this huge city, visiting the most important attractions with a comfortable van with a driver and me as your guide. I speak English and Spanish. This tour is flexible and we can prioritize the attractions that are most interesting to the group.
For a 6-hour tour, the right guide makes a big difference, and Denis was a great guide. He made us feel welcome from the start. He was knowledgeable and offered insight and fun facts, without overdoing it. He had a plan in mind that was optimized for a Sunday, but was always willing to make changes. His English was excellent. We strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a city tour of Sao Paulo.

Denis was awesome! He was really fun to spend the day with and was kind and answered questions in a way that worked for my multigenerational family. My 9 year old in particular told me how much he enjoyed the tour. As promised, we were able to slightly personalize the itinerary to accommodate our requests around food and interests. Denis was knowledgeable and most importantly helped us have a great day despite unavoidable traffic and rains. We highly recommend Denis for your family tour needs- his fluency in English and Brazilian Portuguese was super helpful.
Denis was a great guide! We were a family of nine from the USA, most of us visiting São Paulo for the first time. We had a fantastic time touring the city with him. He is knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and flexible. Denis was super responsive to questions we had during our time with him, and he did everything possible to do the things that we expressed interest in. His English was great. I would recommend Denis for anyone visiting Sao Paulo.
All 6 of us had a great day with Dennis. We had a 20 hour layover. He picked us up from our hotel & gave us a tour of the city and then dropped us off at the airport. His driver good & the van was roomy. He took us to a variety of sights and was very knowledgeable in explaining what we were seeing and in answering our questions. Dennis will take good care of you! My only advice is leave for the airport early. The traffic in Sao Paulo is slow and our drive to the airport was longer than expected!
Our flight were delayed 2 hours and he was waiting for touring us around Sao Paulo city (only 4 hours transit) but very interesting to most attraction in Sao Paulo. We love to hear that we will meet Denis again very soon. Thank you Denis for your talent, hospitality and taking good care of our groups.
- I will pick you up at your hotel or address in Sao Paulo or Guarulhos. - Then we can visit the beautiful food Municipal Market, Cathedral, Japanese Area, First building of SP, Foundation Square, Municipal Theater, Benedict Monastery, Train Stations, Soccer Stadium and Museum, Art Museums, Avenida Paulista (main street), Jardins District, Ibirapuera Park, Vila Madalena, Batman Alley, and Faria Lima street. - Then, drive back to hotel in Sao Paulo. Remembering that this is a flexible tour and this is just a suggested itinerary, but we can adjust the tour according to your interests. PS: Museums and some other attractions are closed on Mondays for maintenance.
