Daniel made this the best day of a two-week trip We had one full day in Rio with my two sons (19 and 20) and gave Daniel a lot to work with. He delivered all of it and never made us feel rushed. We did Christ the Redeemer, the Catedral Metropolitana — the cone-shaped "Star Wars church" downtown, which wasn't on our radar and turned out to be a highlight — hiked Dois Irmãos for the best view in the city, took the Bondinho cable car up Sugarloaf, and had lunch on Copacabana. That is a genuinely full day, and his pacing was the reason it worked. He pushed for an early start, and he was right. Daniel grew up in Rio, and it shows — he knows the city well past the standard script, and his English is flawless, so nothing got lost. He kept the three of us engaged from pickup to drop-off, and having private transport meant no waiting and no logistics on our end. If you have one day in Rio, book Daniel!

I had a wonderful tour experience with Daniel. I was arriving to Rio mid/late morning and needed an airport pickup + an immediate tour, since I couldn't get into my lodging at that time. And I was already joining some tours that my friend booked later in the week. So I needed a tailored experience that didn't overlap with what I would be doing later on but that also addressed some of my other interests in Rio's history and culture. Great customized tour! We had this tour on our first day in Rio de Janeiro, which also helped us with a lot of questions and suggestions from Daniel. He was on time at 6:30am because we preferred to take the first train to visit Christ the Redeemer. His English is clear, be attentive, and relax. He also helped us to buy Christ the Redeemer tickets in advance (for some visitors from U.S, we have issues buying online). We highly recommend this tour with Daniel.

Daniel was a wonderful guide. He communicated with us beforehand. He met us on time. He talked us out of going to Christ the Redeemer which everyone on the boat said was hell because of the crowds and the heat. We saw ipanema and Copacabana and hang gliders, went to the Darth Vader church and the Harry Potter library and he bought us the local fried empanadas so we could try the local treat. He was very knowledgeable and informative. I have a balance issue and he was very kind to make sure that I was safe. We also went to the monastery as our last stop. Where do I start? Daniel was sensational!! I had just completed a tour group trip and had extra day in rio. I had booked a seven hour tour with Daniel but was concerned there would not be enough things to see. Daniel was on time. I gave him a list of things i would like to see. He took over from there. He listened to my interests and then we took off. I saw everything on my list and so much more. He took me to a block long mural that was amazing and not on my list because he listened to my interests. We stopped at a tiny cafe where i had a slice of chocolate cake that was light and incredibly delicious. The day blew by and soon he was taking me to the airport for my evening flight. I had the best experience with Daniel. If i could give him more than five stars i would!
