I truly love my job: creating new possibilities to visit my hometown and State of Bahia (Cachoeira, Morro de São Paulo, Boipeba, Praia do Forte, etc). Overview of your Salvador tour

Bahia is famous for History, Carnival and Gastronomy. The "comida baiana" makes us special and I highly suggest this tour for a real and authentic Food Experiencie in Bahia. During the tour, you will understand the different flavors of Comida Baiana: mix Indigenous, African and European heritage in our food. We start in the Local Market (Food tasting here is not possible on Sunday's afternoon). and we will go to local bars/restaurant to experience a local and yummy local meal ("comida baiana") maybe with a "licor of jenipapo" or cravinho. The first stop - food is picked up by me and I will offer you a food tasting in the Market, on the 2 other ones you can choose your own "petisco" as you will be already an expert on Baianese Food! Optional Stops: cooking class (aditional cost) and Museu Gastronomia in the Old Town. I suggest to book this combination of tours: Walking tour (Morning) + Food Tour (afternoon) Come to Bahia, feel the flavors of Bahia!

Your Salvador tour itinerary

Feira de Sao Joaquim or Ceasinha (depending on the day we can choose one of the Market). This will be our first stop to try and experience flavours of Bahia Stop 2: Local Bar (or Boteco) in Salvador (food not included in the tour) Stop 3: Usually a Local Boteco with a view of the city!!! (food not included in the tour) (1) This is a suggested itinerary and the tour can be customized based on preferences (2) I try to choose very local atmosphere for the stops (3) Each stop expect to stay at least 40 minutes and driving distances depends on the day of the tour, traffic + parking can be different during the week and weekends.
