Greetings from Greece! My name is Nektarios and I am a local at the city of Athens. I speak Greek and English fluently and I have been working as a licensed taxi driver and tour guide for the past 18 years. I chose this profession because I have always liked cars and driving in general. I am also a car engineer graduate and I work part time as a high school professor. This has given me the chance always be aware of my vehicles and be able to understand and overcome any situation. My current vehicle is a Mercedes E class. I believe that one word that would perfectly describe my personality is passionate. Passionate about my country. Passionate about my work. Passionate to adapt and try to do the best I can. I have always loved Greece and especially its rich history and culture. In fact, I can hardly think of a time that I did not want to open another history or mythology book in order to further extend my knowledge. Seven years ago I gave my first tour around Athens and so I had my first chance to try to pass my passion to others. I've loved it ever since. After that I have been working hard gathering pictures, videos and additional information to provide my customers with. Finding various local restaurants for them to try the famous Greek traditional cuisine and small out-of-the-way places that attract way less travellers and provide them with unique experiences. I am also one of the few Private Drivers in Athens who has passed and been issued with a Greek Certification Diploma from 2007 as a certified driver-guide by EOT (Greek National Tourism Organization), Everything I do is for my customer's satisfaction, happiness and entertainment. It would be an honour to continue this with you. Together we will uncover the rich History and uniqueness of Greece while having fun in the process. I look forward to meeting you. What a fabulous day! We had a lot to see in 100° weather but the ac in the car was great as well as the educational videos to prepare us as we drove there. He had lots of good history and fun facts. I would definitely recommend one of his tours. Thanks!
Nektarios picked us up promptly at our hotel in a beautifully maintained Mercedes. During the drive to our first stop at the Corinth canal we were able to watch a video on the history and mythology of our destinations for the day - a great introduction. All stops were based on our interests and their duration was based on our interests. We saw all planned sites and a few others. Nektarios was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Absolutely book a tour with him if you can ! SIX STARS !
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Nektarios is so knowledgeable and we learned so much. His videos he shows before each stop really help to understand what you will be seeing. As he says, this is your tour! He will accommodate your needs and make changes! The stops were very interesting. Nafplio is a beautiful place by the sea and the photo drive was outstanding! The scenery from snow capped mountains to the sea was gorgeous. Nektarios knows the great photo stops and the historical sights very well!
We had a wonderful day! We especially appreciated how accommodating he was allowing us to pace ourselves and not rush us. He was such a gentleman always things of our comfort. He took us to the formations in each city and took time to tell us the history, and significance, that each played in Greece history.

Nektarios provided prompt pickups: a skilled and knowledgeable driver, obliging with a great sense of humor, and a clean, comfortable car. He drove us precisely where we wanted to go, had terrific suggestions for quick side trips, and played professional, informative videos for the archaeological sites we had booked to see. We will start the tour with a beautiful scenic ride along the coast. After a while we will stop at the Corinth canal where we will enjoy its views. Then we will head to ancient Corinth and marvel its Acropolis (also named Acrocorinth). We will then visit the Mycenaean Acropolis, the treasury of Atreus and the ruins of the Cyclopean walls that protected this mighty city. Our next stop will be the picturesque alleys of Nafplio and the breathtaking panoramic view from the top of the castle of Palamidi. On our way back we will make a stop at the Asklepion and the theater of Epidavros with its unique acoustics. At some point during the tour, based on your preferences, we will also go to a traditional Greek restaurant.
