I am an official guide, born and raised in Athens. I grew up surrounded by the layers of history that define this city. Overview of your Athens tour
Lucky to be born and raised in this great city, I would love to make you feel inspired by its history, awed by its ancient architecture and deeply connected its culture . In this tour you will experience the grandeur of the Parthenon, the mythology behind the ruins of the Acropolis , and the vibrant energy of the city blending past and present. This is by far my clients favorite tour of Athens, because they learn and see as much as they can . I am sure you will love it!
Your Athens tour itinerary
1. Our day will start in the early morning with the visit of the Acropolis. I will pick you up at from your hotel or the port in order to start our day! 2. We will visit the archaeological site as well as the New Acropolis Museum. [3 hours] 3. We will drive around the city of Athens and see the most important monuments, including the Parliament house, the memorial of the unknown soldier, the University of Athens and the Academy of Arts and Sciences as well as the National Library. If you want we can stop and visit the ancient temple of Zeus, the arch of Hadrian as well as the stadium where the first modern Olympic games took place in 1896. [1 hour] 4. We will choose a Greek 'taverna ' downtown for a typical Greek lunch. [1hour] 5. Return to your hotel [30'] ***Customize - I can customise the tour if you have any special request
