During this amazing half day tour you will see all the most popular sights and experience the best parts of the city with a local driver guide with a brand New Mercedes Vito Tourer Minivan. We'll see all of the things you would see on an ordinary tour - they're certainly worthwhile. But I will also show you the special things that make Athens great. In our tour we will visit he ACROPOLIS hill and the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the PROPYLAEA, the TEMPLE of ATHENA NIKE, the ERECHTHEION and finally, "the harmony between matter and spirit", the PARTHENON and then the New Acropolis Museum. Afterwards, we will drive to the PANATHENAIC STADIUM , the Temple of OLYMPIAN ZEUS and HADRIAN'S ARCH. Driving down Herod Atticus Str. , you will see the Evzones in their picturesque uniform and the ex. Kings Palace etc.
This Athens city tour will give you a great opportunity to discover the real beauty of Athens. We will visit the sacred Rock of the Acropolis hill (Propylaea, Erechtheion, Karyatides, the temple of Athena Nike) and the Parthenon. Then we will visit the Amazing Acropolis Museum, Syntagma square, the changing of the guards, the Presidential Palace (former King's Palace), the Panathenaic stadium (this is the place where the first Olympic games of the modern era were held, in the year 1896), the temple of Zeus and You will also observe the well known Athenian trilogy of culture, the breathtaking lineup of neoclassical architecture, which are the Academy of Arts and Sciences, the National Library and the first University of Athens. Afterwards, we will drive through the modern part of Athens and continue to the Ancient market (agora), Plaka and the Flea Market.
