This 5-hour journey allows visitors to discover Athens' key landmarks, starting with the iconic Parthenon and continuing with a picturesque city drive. The itinerary includes the Acropolis, the Temple of Zeus via Hadrian's Arch, and the Panathenaic Stadium, site of the first modern Olympics in 1896. We'll also experience the ceremonial changing of the guard, view Athens' architectural marvels, and ascend Lycabettus Hill for breathtaking city vistas. Our exploration concludes with visits to the historic Ancient Greek Agora, offering a rich, immersive Athens experience. We had an excellent tour of Athens with Vasilis. He picked us up at our hotel in Athens and then we went to the Acropolis before all of the crowds of tourists arrived in the buses. He had pre-purchased tickets for the Acropolis and the Agora which made these visits easier without having to wait in line for tickets. Vasilis was very knowledgeable about all of the sights we visited and briefed us, often with pictures, of the sights that we would be visiting. He was an excellent driver and very easy to communicate with. We got to see all of the highlights in Athens that we wanted to see and it was a very stress-free tour.
