We were able to get off the ship early and he was there to pick us up. Highly recommend getting an early start to stay ahead of the crowds as the main sites get very busy. Right from the minute he started driving, Aristotle began giving us historical information. We knew right then we were going to have a great day. His passion and sense of humor are shine through. He is the consummate professional and was always positioning our group to have the best views, best photo opportunities and areas where we could hear everything he was telling us. He also brought his iPad and a small booklet of photos to show us what were were seeing looked like back in all its glory. As a trained historian and archeologist, he is a wealth of information and made all the ancient sites we visited come alive. He is very flexible to do take your group wants. We wanted to stop for lunch and he brought us to a very nice authentic Greek restaurant where they really took care of us. He also is more than happy to take photos of your group and they are all fantastic. Everyone in my group said he is the best guide we have ever been with. First and foremost, I want to say how much I enjoyed my first day in Athens with Aristotelis. I will remember it, for ever! Aristotelis clearly loved his work and country. His dedication, enthusiasm, and genuine care for my wellbeing really shone through every precious moment we had together. He poured his heart and soul into everything. His positive energy, life skills and enthusiasm were transformative and he never tired. At the very start of our day together, he promised me some surprises, which filled my day with joy and expectation. IMPORTANTLY, HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT (for obvious reasons, I will not disclose them and spoil the mystery!). His eloquence, command of English and deep knowledge, took me on a journey through time from the ancient world to modern day Athens. We explored every nook and cranny of landmarks like the Acropolis and Parthenon, leaving no stone unturned, so to say. His encyclopedic knowledge, impressive qualifications, service to his country and experience gained from his childhood as a local lad growing up in the neighbourhood of the Acropolis, provided insights and filled the gaps that I did not realise were missing even in the best guide books and AI. At times, it seemed that his knowledge was boundless and there was no question he could not answer. So, it was striking how, with so little effort, he was able to adapted our agenda/itinerary to my specific interests – doubling the reward of being with him and choosing him as my guide! As our day together concluded, I felt deeply rewarded for choosing Aristotelis as my guide. I felt I had found a new best friend in a city/country that gave us the foundations of civilisation, as we know it. Athena would be proud! Salut.

Great day with Aris. Travelled with six people including my 80+ year old mom. Everyone enjoyed the day. He is knowledgeable, passionate about his city and a really nice person to spend the day with. Very attentive to making sure everyone enjoyed the day and learned about Athens. His time with the presidential guard brought an interesting insight into the ceremony and history. Aristotle was an absolute delight. From the Acropolis to the Ancient Agora, he wove history into stories. He even knew all the secret photo angles so it looked like our group of nine had these iconic sites entirely to ourselves. Our ages ranged from 11 to 84, and somehow he kept every single one of us engaged and smiling. The highlight of the day was the Changing of the Guards. Because Aristotle is a former guardsman himself, he didn’t just explain the ceremony — he brought it to life with insider details and personal experience that made the moment unforgettable.
