Our tour is a compact visit of 4 hrs to the city of Athens. It is ideal for someone who want to see how Athens looks like on a short and relaxing time. We will visit the old Olympic Stadium where the modern Olympic Games where re-organized, drive through the modern city to see the Parliament, the three neo-classical buildings (Academy, University, National Library), the old Parliament, and Constitution Square. We then continue our drive in front of the Temple of Zeus, the new Acropolis museum to visit finally the unique Acropolis with its classical temples, the Propylea, the temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon, the Erechteion, the Roman Odeon of Herode Atticus, and view the ancient agora and the Mars Hill where Saint Paul preached Christianity for the first time in Athens. The view is spectacular and the feelings you get are unique!
I booked the half day city tour with Acropolis visit for my 73-year-old mom. Diana was very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. My mom was traveling by herself and Diana communicated well with her to ensure pickup from a busy airport was as smooth as possible. Would highly recommend for future tours.

We had an excellent tour of Athens with Diana. She was extremely knowledgeable and informative throughout, and the combination of touring by car and on foot worked very well. We were able to cover a lot of ground, see many of the city’s main sights and neighborhoods, and come away with a really good sense of Athens in a relatively short period of time. We finished with a guided visit to the Acropolis, where Diana’s knowledge and explanations added enormously to the experience. She was friendly, engaging and very easy to spend time with. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would happily recommend Diana to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and personable guide to Athens.

A 4 hrs tour to see the highlights of Athens and a visit to the Acropolis. Pick up from the port, drive through the city and visit the Old Olympic Stadium and the Acropolis with several stops for fotos! The Acropolis site is hhticket.gr to buy your tickets, 30 euros on summer.
