Athens Highlights Walking Tour – Acropolis, Museum & Plaka (Half Day)

Jenny is an excellent tour guide, and the tour was far better than we ever imagined. She is extremely knowledgeable about everything concerning Greece and she has a great way of bringing history to life. In addition she is very friendly and personable. Her knowledge about Greek mythology was incredible and she answered every question we had with confidence. She brought the mythology to life, making it incredibly interesting. She knew so much about the ancient ways of life, the ruins, their construction, the history of Ancient Greece, etc. She is a walking encyclopedia. In addition she had recommendations for restaurants, other attractions in Athens and Greece. She was completely flexible and went anywhere we wanted to go. We were completely satisfied with her and were very glad we chose her as our guide. I highly recommend her.

We got to spend 2 days with Jenny. Our first day was a walking tour with food and wine tastings. It was terrific! We got to try a number of different Greek foods and sample local wines and beer. Delightful can't even describe it. Jenny is extremely personable and knows the city very well. On our 2nd day, we did the traditional archaeology tour to the Acropolis, Parthenon, and museum. The tour was terrific. Jenny is very well organized, and we communicated before the tour to sort out tickets to the Acropolis and to the museum. Despite me going online and purchasing the wrong Acropolis tickets, Jenny solved the problem. So nice to have a local who really knows what she is doing. We cannot say enough good things. Jenny is absolutely fabulous. She will tailor a tour to do specifically what you want to do. She knows how to avoid the crowds which makes such a difference (hard to do at the Acropolis). If you are planning to visit Athens, make sure to book Jenny. It does not get any better than this.
