Hello from beautiful Greece! My name is Markos! I will be more than happy to drive you through my Country's History and Civilization in my Licensed, Smoke-Free, air-conditioned, latest-model Mercedes Minivan or brand-new Mercedes Minibus! About 10 years ago, I decided to follow my passion and get involved in the tourism industry. More specifically, to share my passion and knowledge of my country, with people from all over the world. Ever since I was a child, I remember myself walking around the streets of my birthplace, Athens. While I was growing up, I started learning little by little, about my country's amazing history. It was at that time, as a child, that I realized the glory of Ancient Greek Civilization. I realized the global importance of Ancient Greek Characters, and I also realized the magnitude of the cultural and scientific wealth that Ancient Greece spread all around the world. My Studies are in the field of Healthcare and Management. I have a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare and Social Units Administration from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. I also have a Master's degree in Health Management from the University of Piraeus. Furthermore, I have a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Michigan. My writing and speaking skills in English are excellent. Other than my professional occupation, I am a guitarist at a professional level and a Marathon runner. Being a Private Tour Driver Guide is more than a job for me. It is a great opportunity, to introduce my country's history and culture, through its sites and monuments. It's not just a job for me, it is a way to meet people from all over the world and share my passion with them. I love my country and I really love my city. I practically know Athens like the palm of my hand. I know many amazing things that a traveller would love to experience in Athens, that regular sightseeing cannot offer. There are many ways by which a city can surprise you, but it is sometimes very difficult for a traveller to find them on their own. A local person, however, like me, can provide the full experience! Ever since I started following this profession, and until this very day, I can only feel blessed by the travellers' feedback.
