Overview of your Athens tour
Corinth, one of the richest city states in ancient Greece because of "Isthmus" or today's Corinth canal. A toll fee was charged to anyone who wanted to use "Diolkos" and cross from the one side of Peloponnese to the other. They developed the Ceramic art in order to be able to carry sensitive products, olive oil, fruits, vegetables and wine. In the middle of the 1st century A. D. Saint Paul went to Corinth and stayed there for almost two years, spreading Christianity. In the city of ancient Corinth, we find a doric style temple, dedicated to the God of light, Apollo. 595 meters above the ancient city, the "Acrocorinth" is located. Offering an amazing panoramic view to the different conquerors that they passed from this location. Today Corinth still amazes any visitor, for many different reasons!

We were treated to a wonderful drive to Corinth. Vassilios was punctual and professional in every way. He was knowledgeable and encouraged us to ask questions. Vassilios took us to extra places that he thought would be of interest to us. Lunch was delicious. The museum is definitely worth seeing and the canal , as well.
