Drive along the coast to the Canal of Corinth, visit of ancient Corinth, site and its new museum, visit of the Palace of Mycenae and the tomb of Atreus or Agamemnon. Lunch option at a local restaurant.
We took the road trip to Corinth. We stopped at the canal and then walked through the old town of Corinth. They had a nice cite with Apollo’s temple along with a theater. The museum was also good. We then went to Argolis and then had another authentic lunch that Diana made reservations. Diana has a very nice comfortable car.
Wonderful Sunday tour ending with a delicious Al fresco lunch.
We enjoyed our tour with Diana immensely. It was a lovely day, the sites were fascinating, and well-explained. I would definitely take another tour with Diana. What a great guide!
Our itinerary is flexible, depending upon your interests. From your location, we should visit the Canal of Corinth, an 1 hr drive away from Athens for 25 min with a coffee break , then the ancient city of Corinth and its new museum, where Saint Paul preached and then continue 1 hr drive to Mycenae to visit the tomb of Agamemnon and its palace. Lunch at a taverna close by! Nauplion, Argolis, Return to your location.
