LICENSED GUIDE-ARCHAEOLOGIST Welcome to Grece! Welcome home! "Philos"-friend- is a very old greek universal word. The Odyssey is a story of travelling, Odysseus: " had seen the cities of a lot of people and their way of thinking he has understood". I love traveling, I am doing this job not only because I want to show you my country but also because I want to hear about yours. I am a licensed tourist guide and archaeologist who will give you correct historical information with the insight of a local. I have worked in several parts of Greece - Santorini was my favourite - and now I am in Athens, my hometown. Athens is not just the Acropolis, it is a dynamic city with strong personality and many things to talk about We can arrange a variety of tours here or go on one / two days trips to Delphi, ancient Olympia, Mycene e. t. c. . I look forward to meeting you and showing you my country. I promise you an authentic and most enjoyable tour!! Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Tourism: Licence of Tourist Guide. National Kapodistrian University of Athens: Degree of History and Archaeology. Master of Science in Prehistoric Archaeology of the Aegean.

I choose this tour when I want to get out of Athens for a few hours. It is an impressive site with a lot of history. Alexander the Great, Jules Ceasar and St Paul are some of the great men that were attracted by this city. All the arts, including the art of war and the art of love were developed here, cone join me on this tour to tell you more! If you like mythology, some of my favourite myths, like Medea, Pegasus and Sisyphos took place here. No other city built a street for ships!-this is a true fact not a myth!
- Drive by Daphni monastery. Byzantine period, older ruins preserved. - Pass by Eleusis. Quick reference to the Eleusinian mysteries of the past. -Arrive at Corinth Canal.
