A Full Day Trip from Athens to Delphi

Kostas is charming and knowledgeable. My family (4 adults) had a wonderful day with him! It was our second tour with Kostas and I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

Kostas was very welcoming and a very friendly person. He went out of his way to make sure that my family enjoyed ourselves in our time in Greece, such as surprising us with an ice cream trip on the last day of the tour! He is a very knowledgeable guide, and he provided us with many insights into Meteora and Delphi, which we would not have known beforehand. Not only that, he would bring us to several hidden gems along the way, which further surprised us. We highly recommend choosing Kostas as your tour guide should you visit Greece.

If one is lucky, there are opportunities to meet people who really makes a difference in how you think about a place, look at something and take in surroundings. That was our takeaway from time spent with Konstadinos, on our tour to Delphi! Our experience with him was nothing less than terrific! He is a reflection of why my husband & I like to travel to meet & spend time with people from different counties. Konstantinos took us out of the chaos of Athens and showed us the charm of the countryside. Konstantinos talked about Greece’s history, its culture, challenges past & present, as well as identified the importance of Greek family values. By the end of our tour, it felt like we caught up on what has been going on for the past hundred years… Thank you Konstadinos for making our day so special.

Konstas was the perfect driver and guide. It was a long day from Athens to Delphi but Konstas started our morning at an amazing bakery where we got a variety of pastries and coffee. He made the trip interesting with lots of facts and stops for photos. We also had a short stop in Arachova to walk through the town and shop along the way. He always explained how long we would be in an area and where to meet him. Konstas was always ready to help us when purchasing tickets and ensuring we were on the right path. The ruins of Delphi is a huge area with lots of up and down walking. The major sights had Greek and English descriptions. On our return to Athens we stopped at a wonderful restaurant with beautiful views and great food. If you have an extra day in Athens, I would recommend going to Delphi and having Konstas as your driver.
