Learn about artists, explorers, scoundrels, venetian ladies, get a taste of that history by sampling some food and wine while going from the most well known sites, squares and islands to little-known regional wonders, I will ensure you experience it all and gain the most from your visit.
We can enjoy leisurely walks through Venice, discover hidden gardens and alleys, boutique shops and local sites that will make your tour to this beautiful part of Italy a truly memorable one.
I am available at very short notice and may well be available even if you arrive in Venice without pre-arranged plans! so do please check my calendar. If it says I am free then I would be delighted to take you on a tour of a lifetime. Simply send me a message for a prompt reply.
Many clients book me for their first full day in Venice, whether arriving by cruise ship, flying in for a short stay or visiting as part of a wider tour around the country. My clients see the best that Venice has to offer and walk away with confidence on how to find their way around the city independently, so that they are ready to explore on their own steam for the rest of their stay. They do this armed with step by step instructions and recommendations from me, a sixth generation Venitian!
My tours are also perfect for visitors seeking an overview of the whole region. Together we can explore Padova, Verona and Treviso, all manageable on single day trips - even Florence is not too far away! And why not a walk on the Dolomites to make the most of precious time here.
I have travelled to many countries around the world and have also exploredItaly inside out, so I appreciate how valuable your time here is and what makes a trip truly memorable.
I am available from 7am - 10pm daily, 7 days a week including public holidays.
Please note, I am not a tour operator or a travel agent, so am not permitted to book accommodation for you. That said, I can recomend places to stay or help you in booking your gondola in Venice!
Below you will see a selection of tours as a guide to what is possible. The advantage of having your own private tour leader is that you lead the design of your tour and only go where you want to go! Just ask and I will tailor-make a tour to your specifications. How about combining a tour of Venice that includes the Doges Palace and Basilica of Saint Mark with a Bacari tour (wine and finger food) - all in one day? Just let your imagine fly away and see what you can create.

Such passion! Such energy! Yet such kindness & gentleness (esp with our sons)! Elisa enthralled us with a wonderful tour of the city she knows inside out. She makes u feel so comfortable with her - as if u r the only client she has ever had. She read us v well, expertly and quietly adjusting to our styles as we went along. Main sights? Check. Nooks & corners that only locals go? Check. She is easily one of the best guides we hv hired! (And we hv hired several.) I highly recommend her!
