Hi, I've been working as a tour guide since 2018. I moved to Venice once finished the high school to study at the Cà Foscari University, and then I stayed. I love Venice for being such unique, an incredible stand-alone reality, and a place where the human contact is still very present and part of the daily life. Despite its small size, Venice has thousands of sides to be discovered and several labyrinths where to get lost. Discovering Venice with me means looking her through an experienced local's eyes, fell in love with this city. I love traveling and experience new places, cultures and habits. I love the outdoors, walking, and sharing my experience with my guests. I think that meeting different people with different cultures and backgrounds has an inestimable value. This was an interesting tour, and our guide gave full consideration to our very slow walking and altered the tour slightly to suite our needs. Informative, amusing and easy to understand even with my poor hearing. Our (mature) daughter loves the bead we made. Would definitely recommend.
We had a great afternoon tour with Federica to Murano. Federica was fantastic guide - friendly and knowledgeable. We loved visiting the glass factory. The highlight of the tour was the glass bead making with Monica. She is a delight and we had so much fun doing this. It is a very different experience from other tours and was just a blast. Federica and Monica both made it even more memorable. We highly recommend this tour!
We had a lovely excursion to the Murano Island. The choice of glass factory was excellent, as was the personalized attention and lovely stop in the workshop for us to make our own keepsake glass bead. Federica was a pleasant, joyful, and knowledgable guide, who made us feel like being out with a group of friends.
Federica was our lovely guide for an afternoon on Murano. Watching the glass master make a horse in about 2 minutes was amazing. We had time to wander the back alleys of Murano before visiting Monica and making a glass bead. If you’ve already seen the Doge’s Palace, the Basilica of San Marco and looking for something different in Venice - this is it!
We had a great time on this tour. We enjoyed the visit to the glass factory. We felt we really got to see how the glass was created by artists. We took a walk from the glass factory to the bead maker. Federica shared the many interesting sites. The bead maker was so informative. We both made beads and found it to be so interesting. We left with beautiful beads. We would highly recommend this tour. Federica was an excellent tour director.
We enjoyed watching the glass blower technique to make the glass and the tour of all the glass creations in the store. Also we enjoyed watching the lady make a bead too! Federica was very friendly and knowledgeable!
-After meeting, we will take a private boat to the glass factory -Once arrived, we wil have the opportunity to watch the glassmakers realizing their pieces. A person will be with us to explain the different techniques and anwer our questions. - After this part, you will have the chance to visit their gallery, and admire beautiful pieces of art - After the experience at the glass factory we will walk to another place to make your own bead in glass that willl go in a string for a neclace ora bracelet. You'll have a beautiful memory of Venice made by yourself! -At the end you can choose if you'd like to stay in the island or go back to Venice (by public boat or private taxi at your expenses) I can create a customized tour for you in case you have special requests.
