Hi! I am Riccardo, photographer, art historian, surfer, traveler and of course, tour guide! I'm from Vicenza, a city one hour west from Venice and I've been living in Venice for a long time now: this city attracted me since the first time I visited it as a kid. Wandering around its alleys with my mum made me sense its magical atmosphere and immediately enchanted me. My bond with Venice grew stronger over the years, so I couldn't help but moving here as soon as I could. Venice is my home, it has been for a long time. I love it and our relationship is pretty intense — sometimes too much. Being a tour guide helps me share these emotions with my guests. Venice has many beautiful things: art, history and beauty everywhere, but also lesser known, underground curiosities. I want you to discover them through my food, photo and walking tours to help you to get the best from your experience in this magical place. Being in love with this city is what makes the difference from simply being an expert of it, know its soul is the only way to get "her" essence, and what I want is just to help everyone to achieve this magic connection. - Official Tour Guide License - Official Tour Leader License - Art History Bachelor's degree - Economics and Management of Art Master degree - Professional Photographer - Architectural Restorer none

You'll get to experience hidden spots full of interesting curiosities, architecture and culture. My aim is to let you enjoy Venice in the best way. I'll take care of making you save time and money during your stay in order to get most from your time here through my recommendations. There's a whole secret Venice that deserves to be discovered too. Through a nice and relaxing walk around the city calle, you'll feel and behave more and more as a real Venetian - and this is going to help you enjoy Venice in the best way. Let's discover Venice together!

### Riccardo is the BEST! We absolutely love working with Riccardo! He is incredibly easy to work with, knows Venice like the back of his hand, and genuinely goes out of his way to make sure his guests have a smooth, comfortable, and memorable experience. He even helped meet our guests at the train station and get them to their hotel, making their arrival in Venice so much easier. It's those extra touches that really make a difference. What makes touring with Riccardo especially wonderful, though, are the relationships he's built with local business owners and people throughout Venice. His guests don't feel like they're simply being shown around the city—they get a chance to feel connected to the community and experience Venice on a much more personal level. What more could we ask for from a guide?! I truly love working with Riccardo, trust him completely with our guests, and can't wait for the opportunity to work together again soon. **Highly recommended!**

We had enjoyed a fabulous tour with Ricardo and enjoyed learning about the history of Venice and the more "local" facts" about life in Venice. Highly recommend if you want to avoid the "touristy" tours and get to know Venice from someone local who lives and works in the city!

I put off returning to Venice for years because I heard how bad the crowds are. If you are like me, or if you would just like to explore different parts of Venice (other than the Rialto/Piazza San Marco), this is the tour for you. Riccardo was very personable and easy to speak with. He had a lot of interesting info about the beautiful city of Venice and its history. As an added bonus, he gave us some great tips on good places to eat - we tried two of them and both were winners. I thought the crowded areas of Venice were terribly crowded, but he said that it wasn’t really bad (we were there in mid-June). Yikes! The nice thing is, there are so many other lovely and interesting places to see where you are not bumping into other people the entire time.

Who knew there were quiet, non-crowded areas in Venice?!? Riccardo showed us where they were while passing on fun historical tidbits and knowledge.

Ricardo was a fantastic tour guide. He provided history and background on our tour through Venice as we traveled into the hidden gems of the island. He was very personable and shared details and stories about the area that only a local would be able to pass along. My multigenerational family enjoyed the tour immensely. He offered helpful suggestions and and recommendations for our three day stay in Venice. We would highly recommend!

We had a great walk around Venice backstreets with Riccardo who showed us some very special highlights and gave us tips on some of the best vantage points to take pictures. Highly recommended. We came away from our tour with new information about the historic beauty of Venice, such a magical city!

I pick up in some areas of San Marco sestiere, some areas of Cannaregio sestiere and some areas of Castello sestiere, the closer ones to the area of the tour. If your accommodation is located in the other Sestieri of the city more than 15-20 min far from the meeting point the price will be higher. In case contact me first before booking the tour.
