Daniela was an exceptional guide. She demonstrated deep knowledge and appreciation of the Venetian culture. Her explanations brought the Doge’s Palace and St Mark’s alive for us. She answered all of our questions. We had a mixed group and she was able to bring something special to each one of us. I had been in Venice many times but learned even more about the history and culture as she was able to fill in gaps my knowledge. We had two newcomers and a three year old boy. She handled the child beautifully and make the visit easy for us. The two newcomers had all their questions answered and were inspired by the enthusiasm, knowledge and passion Daniela has for the city. One of the best tours by locals guides I have had. Outstanding!

Daniela was great, highly recommend and would use again if in Venice. We had a multigenerational group with grandparents and two children aged 6 and 10 and she kept very interesting for everyone. She made tour of Dodge Palace, which could have easily been boring for kids, into a great experience for them and does very well with children. Very good knowledge of Venice and history and she is a local.

Your Venice tour itinerary

-We start with the magnificent view from St. Mark's Square: the Doge's palace, the Library, and the islands in front of St Mark. -We'll enter then the Doge's Palace, the seat of the Venetian Government -We'll see the State's rooms, the paintings by the most important Venetian artists and the dark prisons - we'll walk into the Bridge of Sighs -We'll visit the Basilica of Saint Mark with its amazing golden mosaics -The walking tour leads then towards the Rialto bridge, passing by traditional local shops until we'll overlook the Grand Canal with its stunning elegant palazzi. * The itinerary may be led also in the opposite direction, starting from Rialto and ending in St. Mark
