You will be picked up from the cruise terminal in Livorno and driven from there towards the Cinque Terre National Park. On the way there you will b able to admire the greatness of the Carrara marble quarry that you will see on your right hand side. You will be driven through the city of La Spezia and start climbing the mountain until you reach Manarola, the second of the five villages. Over there your driver guide will help you out purchasing tickets for the ferry the will be taking you to Vernazza first , and Monterosso afterwards . After you board the ferry in Manarola, I will drive to Monterosso where I will be meeting you as you get off the ferry.
You will be recommended with a nice lunch option to taste local seafood specialties or the famous focaccia.
On the way back to Livorno you will be stopping in Pisa by the Square of Miracles to take some incredible pictures of the leaning tower!

Roman City of Lucca - Half Day Walking Tour

On this tour I will show you how Lucca was originally a Roman city, founded by the Romans in 180 BC.

Back then, Lucca followed the standards of other Roman cities: it had the Forum right in the city centre, where now, centuries afterwards, it has been replaced by Piazza San Michele in Foro. It also had a theatre and amphitheatre that today are the symbol of Lucca, and besides that, there of course were the defensive Roman walls.

Together we will visit what is left of the Roman city of Lucca and I will point out to what has been reused from the original architecture, including the roman columns that have been reused in some current churches and squares.

You will be amazed to seeing the remaining of these constructions that actually date back to 180 BC.
