Jo-Ann was a fabulous tour guide. She met us a the restaurant where we had lunch and ended the tour at the train station where we needed to catch a train. She was very knowledgeable about the City and even followed up after the tour with an answer to a question we had.

Jo-Ann gave us a fantastic day 1 walking tour of Venice, which proved to be invaluable on many levels. With her kind and knowledgeable guidance we were able to learn so much about the history of this incredible city, while wandering through scenic back streets and neighborhoods we would never have imagined seeing. We highly recommend her for any Venice + beyond tours. I chose Jo-Ann for her English-her American father and Italian mother should be very proud. The time we spent with her was the highlight of our two week trip. My only regret is that we didn’t spend more time in Venice, as we would have booked a second tour with Jo-Ann to learn more!

This tour will take you to the most renown and visited places in Venice. We will meet at Piazzale Roma, or the train station, based on your needs and preferences. From there we'll stop by the first European Jewish ghetto and will pass through Fondamenta degli Ormesini, well known for their cicchetti and wine. At this point we'll proceed towards Rialto where we can choose rather to cross the Grand Canal by gondola or to arrive on foot.
