Get ready to explore the most hidden corners of Venice. Starting from Piazzale Roma, walking among the 'sestieri' of Cannaregio and San Marco, lingering along Strada Nova and beyond, you will discover the true heart of Venice. You will live the real meeting points of the Venetians, such as the Jewish ghetto and Rialto where everything remains as in the past- when the 'Serenissimi' led their life on the lagoon surrounded by the millenary beauty of the palaces built by our ancestors. Walking through narrow alleyways and bridges, the most secret and hidden, unknown to the thousands of guests who every day visit the city, I will take you to one of the most important Italian squares… St. Marks'. I'm sure I'll be able to convey to you what for me is the true beauty of this unique city in the world… Venice!
This tour will take you to the most renown and visited places in Venice. We will meet at Piazzale Roma, or the train station, based on your needs and preferences. From there we'll stop by the first European Jewish ghetto and will pass through Fondamenta degli Ormesini, well known for their cicchetti and wine. At this point we'll proceed towards Rialto where we can choose rather to cross the Grand Canal by gondola or to arrive on foot. After crossing the most famous bridge in Venice, we'll finish our journey at St. Marks Square. * This itinerary can be customized to suit your needs and preferences. Feel free to contact me.
