Ciao! I’m a licensed tour leader and national guide, born and raised in Venice, with family roots in the city stretching back over 500 years. I would love to share my Venice — both the famous landmarks and the hidden treasures — with you. From the bustling Piazza San Marco to quiet hidden gardens, from boutique artisan shops to secret alleyways, I’ll guide you through the city’s beauty, history, and traditions. Along the way, you’ll hear family stories passed down through generations about the personalities, mysteries, and legends that shaped Venice. Many visitors book me for their first full day in Venice, whether arriving by cruise ship, flying in for a short stay, or passing through on a longer Italian journey. My tours are designed so you’ll leave not only having experienced the very best of the city, but also with the confidence to explore independently — armed with maps, recommendations, and insider tips from a true Venetian. But our adventures don’t stop at the city’s edge. I also offer unforgettable day trips to Padova, Verona, Treviso, the Dolomites, and even Florence. Together, we can make the most of your time in Italy — whether it’s an art-filled stroll through medieval towns or a breathtaking mountain walk. I am available daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, including weekends and public holidays, and often at short notice — even if you arrive without plans, there’s a good chance I can be ready to guide you. Why choose a private tour with me? Every itinerary is tailor-made for your interests — from grand landmarks to authentic bacari (wine bars) for a cicchetti tasting. I can help arrange experiences like gondola rides or artisan workshop visits. You’ll enjoy the flexibility, depth, and personal touch that only a private guide can offer. Qualifications & Background: Licensed Tour Leader (Veneto Region, Venice) and National Guide (exam taken in Parma) Ca’ Foscari University: Languages & English Literature. Course in Byzantine History, History of Venice, Venetian Painting. Master’s Degree in Marketing – University of Westminster, London Professional travel & hospitality experience with American Express Travel and Walt Disney World Florida (Disney Quality Service training) Let’s design your perfect Venetian adventure — from the Doge’s Palace and Basilica of San Marco to secret neighborhoods and wine-tasting tours.

This three-hour walking tour is designed to give you a complete introduction to Venice, perfect if it’s your first visit or if you have limited time. We move at a relaxed pace, combining the city’s must-see landmarks with hidden corners that reveal how Venice truly works. Along the way, you’ll discover quieter neighborhoods, narrow calli, and small campi, where everyday Venetian life still unfolds. We’ll talk about architecture, art, daily life, floods, masks, gondolas, and the unique challenges of living in a city built on water. The tour includes: St. Mark’s Square and its monuments (external visit) Hidden streets and lesser-known squares The Rialto Bridge and market area (when open) Stories, legends, and practical tips for your stay By the end of the tour, you’ll not only have seen Venice’s essential sights, but you’ll also understand the city—how it was built, how it lives, and how to enjoy it beyond the crowds.

Thank you Elizabeta for touring our family around Venice again!! Your knowledge and enthusiasm is exceptional and I loved all we learned and saw. Your idea of getting g on a water taxi was fantastic as we saw way more than we could if we walked. Your use of headsets is great!! Thank you
Charming personality. Very helpful and a pleasure to spend time with.
Elisabetta gave my family a wonderful tour around Venice. We saw all the things you come for and several that you would only know to see with a local guide. She was so friendly and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend!
I really appreciate the flexibility of Elisabetta as we tried to arrange this tour. She went out of her way to accommodate us. Tour was great and she obviously has great knowledge of Venice. Would recommend her to anyone wanting a tour of Venice.
A most memorable tour, thank you Elisabetta. We were able to see all the sights that interested us. I also very much appreciate the fact that you were patient with my bad knee. 😁 we learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in a personalized learning experience. And there is lots to learn...🥰
Unmissable Venice is the ideal tour if you only have few hours to spend in Venice. With this private Venice guided tour you won't miss any of the essential experiences that Venice offers. We will start from the area of the train station / bus station and head toward the centre. We will be able to visit : the Rialto market and the Rialto bridge, the trade and finance centre of Venice, is our first stop. From here we move toward Campo Santa Maria Formosa, where we will admire the SS. Giovanni e Paolo church with the famous Pantheon. Follow the Scuola Grande di San Marco also knowns as the Great School of Charity (the Captains of Fortune). Last but not least, St. Mark's and step through the famous Mercerie, once the pulsing heart of commercial life back in time, nowadays Venice's main shopping district between Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square. We will explore the square together: Saint Mark Basilica, the Doges Palace, the Clock tower. I can organise a big group as well, please enquire!
