Hi, I've been working as a tour guide since 2018. I moved to Venice once finished the high school to study at the Cà Foscari University, and then I stayed. I love Venice for being such unique, an incredible stand-alone reality, and a place where the human contact is still very present and part of the daily life. Despite its small size, Venice has thousands of sides to be discovered and several labyrinths where to get lost. Walking on this tiny Island, famous also for delicious cookies, makes you feel like Alice in Wonderland.

Federica is a warm, friendly and knowledgeable guide. She was great with my 19-23 year old adult children. Murano glass art galleries were stunning and glass making demo fascinating. Seeing Murano and Burano as we did on this tour was fabulous. The private water taxi, while price, was worth the faster trip and not having to deal with any crowds. Federica had arranged a private tour of the Estevan Rossetto glass factory for us which unexpected on our part - and very nice! It was Sunday, and they made a special effort to accommodate us. She also took us to a lace-making demonstration on Burano by people with unequaled experience making lace.

One of the best tours that I have had. Federica, the tour guide, was wonderful, knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable. The tour besides the demonstrations of glass and lace making had walking tour of Burano which was very fun. Ended up having a great lunch on the island. Highly recommend this tour with Federica.
Your Venice tour itinerary
-We will get on the private watertaxi at your hotel, if provided with a dock, and will start exploring the lagoon. -Our first stop will be in the Murano island at a glassfactory to see the art of the blowing glass. -Upon request, is possible also to see a glass beads making demo, made according to the lamp working technique. -After a walk, we will proceed by boat to the island of Burano to visit an atelier where the lace makers still work with passion. -There, we have the possibility to see also a museum of antique laces collection, dated back from the 16th hundreds. -We will admire the beautiful colorful houses and taste the cookies made on the island. -After a walk through an exclusive vineyard on the island of Mazzorbo, we will be back in Venice.
