Through this tour we will walk around downtown of Mexico city, visiting the most important buildings in this area, such as Metropolitan Cathedral, National Palace wich serves as the residence for the president, the remains of the Templo Mayor of the Aztec empire, The Palace of Fine Arts,  where we can gaze some important murals of Diego Rivera, the house of the tiles, the post Office Building, MUNAL, among others.

Teotihuacan and Tula: two day tour along ancient pyramids and 1000 years of history

This tour offers you something different: not only will we discover this ancient civilization that built a city in the first centuries AD almost as big as Rome, but also explore together ways of life, worldviews, art, local cuisine and living traditions.

The site of the famous pyramids was designed from scratch, with a perfect geometrical pattern that grew fast to cover more than 20 square kilometers (10 sq miles). This tour is planed for people that do not have all day to visit Teotihuacan, but you will have time to visit the main sites in the area walking with me and cover the main site, the tour is focused ONLY in the archaeological site of Teotihuacan so you dont lose time in shops, or tour traps like in a big tour bus, a drop-off at the airport after the tour is possible without additional cost.

A longer tour is possible please ask for a customized tour link to do that. Please DO NOT WEAR SANDALS, FLIP-FLOPS or similar there are small rocks and red ants all over the place.

The tour is designed to make sure you visit all the highlights of the place without having to walk long distances (the Avenue of the Dead is 2. 5km long)

We will start at the museum, where I will provide more context about this marvelous ancient city. We will visit the majestic Pyramid of the Sun, and afterward, we will walk along the Avenue of the Dead to reach the Temple of the Moon. Throughout the journey, we will see a magnificent mural of a puma that is nearly 2000 years old!

Later, we will arrive at the residential area where the Teotihuacan elite lived. At this point, I will walk back to the car while you explore the Palace of Quetzalpapalotl. In this area, you can take a break and capture many photographs from the viewpoint. I will pick you up in our car, and we'll head straight to the Citadel (saving more than 40 minutes) to visit the Temple of Quetzalcoatl (my favorite!)

We will have the option of a lunch break, and we will conclude the day at the Basilica of Guadalupe.
