Hi! I’m Juan, a certified tour guide with Mexico’s Ministry of Tourism and a graduate in English Teaching from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). I was born and raised in Mexico City, and I’ve spent my whole life in this lively, fascinating place. After several years as an English teacher, I met a student who had been a tour guide for many years. He saw my passion for Mexican history and suggested I try guiding tours—and he was right! Not long after earning my certification, I realized that guiding had become my true calling. I love sharing Mexico through my eyes, helping visitors return home with unforgettable memories, and, of course, fantastic photos (I also enjoy photography and know the best spots for great shots!). My goal is for you to enjoy Mexico City safely, at your own pace, with a trip tailored to your interests. Feel free to reach out so we can customize your experience in CDMX whether before you arrive or even during your stay. I look forward to showing you the best of what this incredible city has to offer. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! - Certified tour guide by the Ministry of Tourism in Mexico (SECTUR) - Degree in English Teaching from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) For groups of more than 4 people (or those who prefer extra comfort), I can arrange a spacious Toyota Sienna or similar vehicle with a professional driver, available for an additional fee.

The south of Mexico City is full of surprises. If you have already visited the Historical Center, the South of Mexico City is waiting for you to see the beautiful and colorful houses that the Spanish conquistadors built after the Aztec Empire was defeated. Cortés chose to settle in the south of Tenochtitlan (Coyoacan's neighborhood today). You will walk on the same streets where the first Spanish in Mexico lived almost 500 years ago! Coyoacan is a bohemian neighborhood where the famous Mexican artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera lived. It is also known for its Franciscan ex-monastery, markets, handicrafts, coffee shops, and its delicious churros. The National University and Xochimilco are both World Heritage places that no one should miss. In Xochimilco, you'll leave the traffic behind on a colorful boat and see the chinampas (floating gardens) with flowers. San Angel is a fancy area where the wealthy built their vacation homes. It is a great place to get nice handicrafts and try amazing Mexican food!
• Hotel pick up • One hour ride on a boat in Xochimilco (floating gardens in the south of the city and World Heritage site) • UNAM murals (World Heritage site thanks to its architecture and fantastic murals) Coyoacan walking tour (This neighborhood is one of the oldest in Mexico City. The Spanish conquistadors settled there after the Aztecs were defeated). • Lunch break (I will suggest some places depending on your interests but you can't miss the famous churros rellenos here!) • San Angel neighborhood walking tour (The wealthy society of the 18 and 19 century built their vacation homes here. It became a fancy a colonial place where many years later artists like Diego Rivera and Frida Khalo lived) • Hotel drop off
