HOLA! Welcome to Mexico City that once was called the City of Palaces! and still remains so. . . Many people believe that one of the best ways to get to know a place is one of the easiest - JUST WALK AROUND IT! Yes, Mexico City is huge , walkable and still unknown in many aspects by foreigners and even locals. As a Mexico City born I know the ways to get around the city and I have been working as tour guide since 2007 with people from all over the world and in different languages: English, French, German and of course Spanish. Also I have designed itineraries for visitors travelling on business or for pleasure. Having traveled to 30 countries in 4 continents becoming also a TRAVELER . I am one of very few CERTIFIED tour guides by The Mexican ministry of Tourism that is also a SOMMELIER (wine professional). Lived in France for a few years where I started lo learn about the fascinating world of wine and specialized in Traditional Mezcales. I have visited several communities that produce small-batch in the traditional way , have contact direct contact with producers and also support some projects to continue with a tradition that is threatened by all industrialized productions. Let me bring you alive this magnificent civilization that is surrounded by several mysteries including its reasons of decay and how it dominated large territories becoming the most powerful civilization of ancient Mexico Admire spectacular pyramids of the Sun with around 200 feet of high and one of the largest on the American continent, of course also the pyramid of the Moon or the Plume Serpent Temple (Quetzalcoatl temple) that it is by far the most decorated of the whole city. It has also some of the most interesting and biggest ORIGINAL murals ever found in Mexico that could be 1500 years old. I am still the only guide to offer a CABLE CAR ride as optional after lunch This Tour is for you is you are staying in Mexico City or have a layover at the International Airport and is just one 1 1/4 hour drive away!
We had a wonderful tour of Teotihuacan with Antonio Suarez, and David as our driver. Antonio is so knowledgeable about the pyramids and the surrounding community, and he shares his knowledge in an engaging and conversational manner. We highly recommend a tour with Antonio, and he added some interesting “extras” to our day — a wonderful meal, a ride on the relatively new gondolas in CDMX, and a tour of obsidian carving.
Antonio was a fantastic guide. We stopped for a great coffee and then were off on a magnificent day. On the way out we rode several stops of the unique CDMX cable car transit system which took us skyward with great views of all parts of the city and mountains. The pyramid tour was a thorough and stunning trip back in time, and we ascended the Temple of the Moon along with exploring he innards of the city’s ruins. Afterwards we enjoyed an authentic meal with tremendous fresh ingredient.
Antonios driver was 10min before waiting us at our apartment! We drove thento the pyramides, where Antonio explained us all, also with pcitures.. what I liked most is his patience as I was with my 9 years old kids and 85 years old mother! He was NEVER in a rush and explained us everything we asked... We ended at a nice mexican (tourist) restaurant, but with an AMAZING view to the Moon Pyramid! Gracias Antonio!
Great tour! Antonio was very knowledgeable, and the length of the tour was perfect for us.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Pyramids and the cable car ride with Antonio. He knows so much of the history of the Pyramids, and he helped us notice details both at the Pyramids and other things along the way there that we wouldn't have understood on our own. He's also truly fun to talk to and be with. The drive there and back was very comfortable. The cable car ride was fun and interesting. We highly recommend this tour.
