I am the kind of guy who walks at the beach and waits patiently for the sunset. I love reading mystery novels but Mexican history is my passion. I play the electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, and a little bit of piano, when I was younger I had my own rock band, and indeed one of the best times of my life. I've been working in the tourism industry for over 27 years, 20 of them in customer service at a mexican major airline company, at Mexico's City International Airport and I can tell you that I loved it!. One of my passions is knowing people from all over the world. 14 years ago in 2012 I started studying "History" in order to become a Tour Guide I fell in love with it immediately so I decided to specialize myself on the pre-columbian cultures of the center of Mexico which is part of my actual touring expertise. In time I got to know the “Nahua Culture”, which is one of the most well-known native cultures from Mexico (the Aztecs were Nahuas), so I decided to learn how to speak their ancient language “Nahuatl”, a thing that I've been doing since 2017, I have to say that learning this has been very difficult but it's worth it. After finishing my studies I started delivering part time tours but after a while I decided to quit my old job at the airline to become a full time tour guide, sounds crazy but you got to know that this was the best decision in my entire life! You may notice now that if I worked at an airline, I'm the kind of guy that loves to travel and you're not mistaken I'm really into it, not just out of my country but inside it too, this is why I can tell you that Mexico's got everything for doing tourism, especially Mexico City, here we have great food, ambiance, great culture and lot of places to visit, for example: Do you like Mariachi music? We have Garibaldi. Do you like nature walking? We have Chapultepec forest. Do you like eating traditional food? We have lots and lots of markets, especially at Coyoacan. Do you like religious touring? We have Basilica of lady Guadalupe and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Do you like old architecture? We have downtown Centro Histórico. Do you like coffee shops and mezcalerias? We have La condesa neighborhood. This is just the beginning, just a small taste of what Mexico City's got to offer. Do you want more? Well, what about visiting Puebla or Cholula just 85 miles from the city, there you will find beautiful landscapes and of course a lot of churches and cathedrals from the XVI century. Want to try something different? What about visiting thermal waters at “Las grutas de Tolantongo” just 125 miles away from the city. Looking for ancient archaeological sites? You can't miss The Holy City of Teotihuacan (UNESCO World Heritage since 1987) This is a must! So Mexico City has everything waiting just for you and you can count on me for touring it. Wanna try one of my pre-made tours for visiting the pyramids? The National Museum of Anthropology? Basílica de Guadalupe? Tolantongo? What are you waiting for! I'm willing to give you the best experience ever when visiting Mexico City, just contact me. See you at this fantastic place. Hector. After the colapse of Teotihuacan and when all the people left the ancient city behind, there existed a period of time which is not commonly heard, the wars began and a "new Meso-American order" was stablished. Among all the cultures one raised as the most powerful "The Toltec". Greatness in artistic expressions, astronomy, math, culture, religion and warfare were only a few of the characteristics of this great civilization which lasted for over 200 years, the influence of the Toltecs was so big that even the Mayans common lives were affected. Join me on a day trip to visit one of the most emblematic archaeological sites of Mexico "Tula the great", there the "Nahuas" built pyramids, temples, astronomical centers and the impressive "Atlantes of Tula". I'm a certified tour guide with special studies on Teotihuacan Culture, Architecture & Pre-Columbian Religious Matters. Please refer to my credentials for more information.
