HOLA! Welcome to Mexico City that once was called the City of Palaces! and still remains so. . . Many people believe that one of the best ways to get to know a place is one of the easiest - JUST WALK AROUND IT! Yes, Mexico City is huge , walkable and still unknown in many aspects by foreigners and even locals. As a Mexico City born I know the ways to get around the city and I have been working as tour guide since 2007 with people from all over the world and in different languages: English, French, German and of course Spanish. Also I have designed itineraries for visitors travelling on business or for pleasure. Having traveled to 30 countries in 4 continents becoming also a TRAVELER . I am one of very few CERTIFIED tour guides by The Mexican ministry of Tourism that is also a SOMMELIER (wine professional). Lived in France for a few years where I started lo learn about the fascinating world of wine and specialized in Traditional Mezcales. I have visited several communities that produce small-batch in the traditional way , have contact direct contact with producers and also support some projects to continue with a tradition that is threatened by all industrialized productions. I Love a cup of a cup of great coffee that's why I am getting deeper knowledge about Specialty coffee , visiting coffee shops not only in Mexico but also when I travel abroad Enjoy my tours Certified tour guide by the Mexican Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) International Relations bachelor's degree by UNAM ( Latin America's most important University) Sommelier by Fundación Sommeliers Traditional Mezcales connaisseur Specialty Coffee connaisseur None

Overview of your Mexico City tour

You will experience a traditional market beyond tourist path in a very beautiful and quiet neighbourhood either in Tlalpan or San Angel where most tourist visit only its Saturday market. A visit to National University campus is also a great opportunity not only to admire its architecture but also see how peaceful its campus can be with its natural reserve and impressive and modern cultural center or and I am sure that you will love the boat ride in Xochimilco and eating some corn, a snack or some beers, and even visit a Chinampa ! Visit neighborhoods that are often ignored by visitors like National university campus, Tlalpan and a highlight of Mexico city: magnificent floating gardens of Xochimilco with all Mexican folklore.

Antonio was excellent! He created a nice balance of information and conversation. Xochilmilko was special and really a unique Mexico City experience. I was especially grateful for his easygoing nature and flexibility regarding the age of my sons. (We need to use the bathrooms a lot!) Highly recommend. Antonio was great and also the driver was lovely.

Castillo de Chapultepec Personalized Private Tour Our visit to Castillo de Chapultepec was far more than sightseeing it was a moving journey through history, memory, and healing, made unforgettable by our guide Antonio and driver Rodolfo. From the moment we stepped into the air-conditioned van, Antonio shared fascinating stories and historical insights about Mexico City, pointing out landmarks and explaining the cultural significance of the areas we passed, which made the experience feel rich and immersive from the very start. Throughout the day, both Antonio and Rodolfo showed extraordinary kindness, professionalism, and care, ensuring our mother and aunt were comfortable traveling with their wheelchairs. Their attentiveness allowed our family to relax and fully enjoy the experience. One of the most meaningful moments was standing before the powerful Revolution murals depicting the struggle for worker rights, freedom, and justice. As our mother and aunt reflected on the history of their birthplace, the experience became deeply personal and emotional. We are incredibly grateful to Antonio and Rodolfo for creating such a thoughtful, compassionate, and culturally rich experience. This was not simply a tour it was a journey of reconnection and heartfelt care. Highly recommended!

Xochimilco/Coyoacán Personalized Private Tour This tour was one of the highlights of our time in Mexico City and a memory our family will treasure forever. Our guide Antonio and driver Rodolfo created a seamless, joyful, and deeply meaningful experience filled with warmth and care, especially for our mother and aunt who were traveling in wheelchairs. Exploring Xochimilco aboard a colorful trajinera was unforgettable, especially as a mariachi group played our favorite songs while we floated through the canals. Our mother and aunt loved nibbling on elotes with lime and chili and shopping for handmade artisan jewelry to bring home to their grandchildren. Our afternoon in Coyoacán was equally special, including a stop at the iconic Fuente de los Coyotes and a drive past Casa Azul, which added even more cultural richness to the day. This was far more than a sightseeing tour. It was a heartfelt experience filled with joy, heritage, and connection. Highly recommended!

Antonio put together a terrific tour of sites and neighborhoods most of which were off the tourist beaten path. We particularly enjoyed exploring the Tlalpan neighborhood with stops at a fantastic coffee shop, street taco stand, and historic market. Antonio has extensive knowledge of local history and arts and offered thoughtful and detailed commentary on the fabulous Juan O’Gorman murals at the National Autonomous University library building. All in all a fabulous tour with a first rate guide.

This was our second tour with Anthony, and it was perfect. As we had a group of 6 people, Anthony hired a van and driver for the tour. We started in front of Frida Kahlo’s house, and walked around her neighborhood and into nearby parts of Coyoacan, including pretty squares, churches and a market. We then drove around a well-known university, and enjoyed lunch in a museum restaurant in campus. Finally, we went to Xochimilco, where we chose to see the peaceful side. Anthony’s tours are informative and fun, and they offer a glimpse of traditional life in Mexico City.

Your Mexico City tour itinerary

we can visit 3 of the following sites: - San Angel on Saturday with its colorful and lively Saturday market and some magnificent architecture and cobble stone streets or - Tlalpan downtown is one of my favorite tiny places in Mexico city with cobble stone streets that makes you feel in a little town! it has the OLDEST traditional local market in Mexico city that started to be built in 1898 and yes , we visit ! - I got my bachelors degree in International Relations at National Autonomous University of Mexico with over 300, 000 students that has a unique library with colorful natural tiles murals telling different periods of Mexican history and the Olympic stadium declared world heritage by UNESCO. - Ride a boat in Xochimilco floating gardens with a farming islands system created since Aztec times where Mexico city still produces an important percentage of flowers and greens for its consumption . Xochimilco was also declared world heritage by UNESCO.
