Through this tour, we will walk around downtown Mexico City, visiting the most important buildings in this area, such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace, which serves as the president's residence (No longer open as a museum), the remains of the Templo Mayor of the Aztec empire, the Palace of Fine Arts, where we can gaze at some important murals by Diego Rivera, the House of the Tiles, the Post Office Building, and MUNAL, among others. I'll talk to you about the history of the birth of a new city and how it changed from Aztec pyramids and temples to colonial and baroque architecture. But this will not be enough without Mexican gastronomy, so we will visit one of the traditional taquerias at the end of the tour. Yummy! This is a 4-hour private walking tour of downtown Mexico City; you will fall in love with it! Message me if you need entrance to specific places. Lunch is included. *It's important to know that on Mondays, all museums are closed.

This tour was fantastic. I felt like I was getting to know the city while walking around with a friend. Hilary was knowledgable and her english was fantastic. We were able to engage in some interesting conversations due to the small nature of our tour. It was great learning about the history of the city and seeing some of the beautiful murals during the tour....with the added bonus of some delicious tacos!

Our family spent all day with Hilary in old town learning about the history of the city from Aztecs to the Spanish. She took us to a local place to have churros that also had amazing tacos! Again here English is amazing, so knowledgeable and all of our 5 20 year old loved this tour. Just book Hilary!
