Mexico City Historic Center

Through this tour, we will walk around downtown Mexico City, visiting the most important buildings in this area, such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace, which serves as the president's residence (No longer open as a museum), the remains of the Templo Mayor of the Aztec empire, the Palace of Fine Arts, where we can gaze at some important murals by Diego Rivera, the House of the Tiles, the Post Office Building, and MUNAL, among others. I'll talk to you about the history of the birth of a new city and how it changed from Aztec pyramids and temples to colonial and baroque architecture. But this will not be enough without Mexican gastronomy, so we will visit one of the traditional taquerias at the end of the tour. Yummy!
