Magnificent Mexico City

We will explore the impressive Mexico City, built on top of the ruins of the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan. This is my beloved city, which I consider a gem of culture, civilization, art, and miscegenation. It is my privilege to share with travelers the wonders that, since I was a child, have mesmerized me. We will discover flavors, architecture, history, anecdotes... but mostly, kind and gentle people. Our first stop is the Zocalo main square, one of the biggest in the world. We will visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, the biggest church in Latin America, and the National Palace, which hosts Diego Rivera's murals depicting the history of Mexico. We then drive along the famous boulevard Paseo de la Reforma, built during the short-lived reign of Emperor Maximilian von Habsburg, where we can admire modern buildings and emblematic monuments such as the Angel of Independence. Our last stop is the Museum of Anthropology, where we will have some time to explore the treasures of the Aztec and Mayan civilizations.
