Thessaloniki Tailor Made Tour

I had scheduled two, day, tours with Panagiotis (Vergina/Pella and Thessaloniki). I am very pleased to write this 5-star review and my comments are inclusive for both days. Both tours were very good opportunities to learn and appreciate the contributions of one of the greatest civilizations. Panagiotis does an excellent job of effortlessly communicating Greece's complex history and its culture. I was very impressed with how Panagiotis wove the importance of Vergina, Pella and Thessaloniki in the overall history of Greece. Even though he is very knowledgeable he is not overbearing when conversing with his clients. He talks to the level of his client's knowledge and interests. There was ample time to ask questions and the answers were always thorough and to the point. I am very happy that I chose Panagiotis for my tours and look forward to touring with him again during my next visits to Greece and will be pleased to recommend him to family and friends.

Panos was a scholar and a gentleman of a guide! His knowledge and expertise on the culture and history of Thessaloniki were matched only by his engaging conversation and personal touches throughout the tour. He harmonized our list of "must-sees" amidst a bustling and winding city with knowledge and skill. We had many unexpected stops where we learned and saw even more than we anticipated. Panos always had keen insights into the history behind the locations and shared about the many eras of civilization in the city with a depth of knowledge that would probably earn us college credit, but he did it in ways that were down to earth and easy to understand. We could not imagine a better guide for Thessaloniki!

We spent the day with Panagiotis, and we enjoyed our time with him tremendously. He is very knowledgeable about history and the culture of Thessaloniki. We walked the city with him for several hours and wandered the small streets and saw many important sites in the area. He took us to the locations we desired, and he accommodated the tour for our liking. We visited many Jewish sites in the city as we requested. We highly recommend Panagiotis as your guide.

We learned a lot of history about the city and enjoyed local pastry, compliments of our guide. He was very helpful and answered all our questions about life in Thessaloniki. We liked the city and our guide. The walk was not too strenuous. I would recommend “Panos” to anyone interested in touring this city.
